You're a lying sack of shit. All you ever do is try to manipulate, restate, and shape shift the rules to suit your needs. You're obsessed. Accept it. And when Coltrane and I start our wine litigation firm in Paris (although I suspect he is a Thurgreed sock from having called you a dumbshit) we will not leave the guest room open for your visit.

It appears that NFH and I are better at adapting to other cultures, that's all. Surprising that a Republican can't do that. You people do hate change.

And I would have loved to have gone to Paris in college. That would have been a blast.

One of my best friends just got flown out to Santa Fe for an interview. He took the job and drove out 5 days ago. It's a whole different world. He can't wait to hike and fly fish. Sounds cool.
My sister "retired" and moved out to Santa Fe. She loves it out there but says it is very brown. There are also lots of water issues in Santa Fe and real estate is expensive. The cost of living is also very expensive. She's also found it hard to find any single men her age. She had to tell more than one man that 70 was her limit.

Plus, lots of people retire out to Santa Fe and to find themselves and become artists. They all end up in real estate.

I've been seriously debating moving myself out of the current small town. But have evaluated all these places and have decided unless something compelling makes me move, I'm just going to visit.

I think POrtland and Seattle despite the attraction of being outdoorsy towns, it would rain just too damn much. Is Vancouver the same way?

Denver but my sister says its like any other big city, lots of people and traffic.

Boulder - a little crunchy?

San Francisco or elsewhere in California - aren't those people just different?

Austin - but there also real estate is expensive and traffic has gotten really bad.

If we're talking out of the country Cape Town is a beautiful city. I'd love to live there. And I've heard New Zealand is fabulous.

San Francisco or New York.
The reason? I could finally get good pizza again.

I could pick up and move now I suppose, but then I would miss all the fun I get to have in the Burg.

I forgot about Vancouver. Have you been there? I need to at least visit. I hear it's phenomenal.

And you are learning from your ilk to pick and choose which posts (questions) to respond to. Again with the kudos! Hope you like granola. Though, since your other wives do not work, and you kinda over-extended in that area, your many progeny are unfamiliar with brand-name snacks.

This from the person who answers TM's domestic-city poll with a discussion of foreign cities?

Okay, if we're talking all over, I'll switch to Bridgetown, Barbados.

Vancouver is my unrealistic pick. I would move there in a heartbeat if I knew I could earn a living there.

Vancouver is cool. Has the same sort of attraction that Seattle has - clean, surrounded by mountains (Whistler's about a 2 hour drive - gorgeous) and you get the hockey, eh. But more chinese restaurants rather than Japanese and thai. And Victoria is very cute, more of a British flavor. And you can't beat the exchange rate. $200 will make you feel like a rich man. But gas is freakin freakin expensive. They sell it in imperial litres (which is like a quart) for over $2.

Dosmetic City poll? Here's what TM wrote:

"If you absolutely had to move, where would you move and why?

This isn't a fantasy poll. This is a practical one based on your means and current situation. If you are so wealthy that you could up and move to the French Riviera and never work again, then that is a legit answer."

I'm assuming you could practically move to Barbados. It can't be that expensive. The kids would love it!

What? Did it specify Domestic cities? Have you been taking classes from Hank? I'd quote it for you, but I want you to go back and redo your reading assignment. You'll find that even TM raised the foreign cities issue.

eta, or I see the Coltrane has done your work for you again.

Honey, I suggest you stay away from the pb, especially if you are a Republican. You would be horrified at what people purporting to represent your party are doing.

Yep, you're right, I read it wrong.

Okay, switch me permanently to Bridgetown.
