xmas music
So there's this radio station that for weeks now has been playing nothing but xmas music. Nothing.But.Xmas.Music.
I like it. Even the Jesus stuff.

You sure that wasn't his way of saying "we're so washed up, we can't afford any better"?

I almost went with that one. But you'd think Pony would have said "washed up albino blues rock guitarist."

When the Brazenette was teeny, I used to sing her Oh Come All Ye Faithful, sort of humming over the Jesus parts. It's a pretty song and sits nicely in the richest part of my voice.
I've since switched to Edelweiss. Which I think is kind of Nazi-esque but still nicely placed in my range.

I went with John Prine's "Angel From Montgomery." And if that doesn't get me Bilmore of the Day, then the award is no longer worth having.

Nazi-esque? My dear lady, Captain Von Trapp sang Edelweiss in defiance of the Nazi occupation of Austria (and just before that tense confrontation with Rolf on the roof).
Your command of European history is sorely lacking.
What do Nazis Sing?

You do realize that Edelweiss is all about the anal sex, don't you? "Nicely placed in my range," indeed.
