I assume no one picked Dallas. Too bad.

I'd move to Southern California. Or if I couldn't find legal work there, Miami. Or if I couldn't find legal work there, I'd give up practicing law and enter another service industry (such as blackjack dealer or cabana girl) and move to a tropical destination.

In case you couldn't tell, avoidence of winter is very important to my residence decisions.

?

Stating something that is factually true just to state something that is factually true is stupid. And you, me, NFH and her dumbass friend all know that what she was saying was "It's not so great if you don't make [a hell of a lot of money]." So maybe I just don't understand your point.

It's like saying, "Having a threesome would be great if you could do it Cleveland."

I have actually heard that the threesomes are not so good in Cleveland.

Just sharing my wisdom.

But saying, "Getting a Cleveland Steamer would be great if you could get it in Cleveland" is completely different.

Bad news for fashionistas

http://www.nytimes.com/2004/03/23/fashion/23DRES.html

[NYT: weak dollar causes sticker shock among shoppers for European designer clothing.]

Sounds like I'll be roaming C21 with bigger crowds than usual.

If you feel that strongly about it, I'll promise to stay away for $200k. Fringey, I'll make you the same offer w/r/t your city for $50k.

It's time to put up or shut up, petunia.

What? It isn't Friday? Oops. My bad. Um, to make up for it, I was, uh, wondering if perhaps you would like to, uh, have, um dinner. With, uh, me and my wife. You know. Just dinner. And stuff. Maybe a drink or something. Let me know.

Nah. I'm willing to bet that you can't get a job here for $500k. But if I lose, I'm assuming I can pay in cheesesteaks.

Tell Butch Davis* to stop getting drunk in my local pub.

Bad Day

So I spent from 8:30 to 2:00 in bad, waste-of-time meetings and then got back to my desk and found out a friend of mine died of AIDS last night. I'm not confident I'll get any billing in today.

This sucks.

I have been to Vancouver. It was fucking freezing (it was January). It seems like it would probably be nice in the warmer months. When I was there it was sunny, but really fucking freezing.

Best sushi ever.

Lots of Hong-Kongers who left before HK reverted back to China.

May very well be what she meant, but that's not what she said.
