1) No.
2) Check DFW too. I'm not sure which is closer of the two airports (Dallas or Shreveport) but Dallas is sure to have more flights.
I once dated a loser who was originally from Longview. This is not to say I didn't date other losers. But no other losers from Longview.
Ps. Check out the Long View while you are there. Actually there might be pine trees blocking the Long View. There is some rumor that East Texas is full of pine trees. I've never confirmed that this is actually the case.

2) Longview has an airport; you probably have to fly American through Dallas to get there, and on a little American Eagle flight.
1) Not as far as I could tell. There's a ballon festival there every year that's supposed to be pretty cool, but it'd be a real coincidence if you happened to be there at the right time. I'd head for the kicker bars and try to convince a local to show you a little Texas hospitality.
ETA: because I'm bored, I Googled, and came up with the additional information that the airport code is GGG and the following web site:
Longview, Texas . . . Worth a Visit

1: Never seen them until your post (thank God). Ick.
4: This is an extremely slow Friday; the receptionist was just complaining that she'd finished both of her crosswords and had nothing left to do. I, however, am delighting in the fact that the office is nearly empty, since this means that a couple of people whom I cannot stand are not here - woohoo! Plus, I can actually get some work done for a change.
Sorry to hear about the car repair trauma.

4: Bored as hell. This may be one of the slowest Friday's I've had to endure in a very, very long time. It will be capped off with a $400 plus bill at the auto repair place, due to worn brake pads and a weak battery.

I'm vaguely thinking that Longview may be in a dry county. A lot of those East Texas counties are. I try to avoid such places. That said, I'm also thinking Longview might be one of the models for King of the Hill.

She'd be a better leader if she could stop crying for 2 fucking seconds.
More Spoiler Space Needed because it discusses that which has not yet been shown on TV.
Apparently Jase really gave it his all last night after his buddies left him out to dry, but Diane was a monster and looked very very very strong, even after 8+ hours. Don't make that girl mad.
BB will suck if both Jase & Scott get picked off. It'll be like Curtis and Eddie and Josh all over again.

Where specifically is the Hell's Angels party? Maybe I'll go take out a contract on one of the loathed individuals.
I did not see any of the threatened OzzFest traffic on 101 this morning, but I was probably there well before any real hardcore fan would ever think of getting up.

Sturgis, South Dakota. Most Augusts, I road trip to Northern New Mexico, and the highways are full of motorcyclists that are headed to Sturgis. This year has flown by so fast that I didn't realize that it was already time for Sturgis again.

There has got to be a porn movie somewhere with a title that plays on Mr. Goodwrench. And what about the Michelin Man?

Ozzfest was yesterday - is in San Bernadino tomorrow.
The Hells Angels say they are coming to San Francisco to have a good time and not make trouble.
The national convention starts in San Francisco Thursday. A special metal compound is being built for the meeting around Pound SF, a nightclub in an industrial area between the Bayview and Portrero Hill. Organizers have told police that they expect some 250 Angel members in San Francisco, although hundreds more could be staying in other parts of the Bay Area.
The Angels say they will be taking in the local sights like Fisherman's Wharf. (Isn't that cute?)
"That's absolutely true," said motorcycle gang expert Timothy McKinley. "They are family members and do tourist things. But, they are also representatives of organized crime."
Members of the Hells Angels refused to talk to CBS 5, saying they object to their image in the media.

Please elucidate on JAse giving it his all AFTer and Diane being a monster.
And if you have the feeds, can you answer this question for me? Holly? Dimwit or genius? Given her extreme bleachedness, overmadeupness all the time, high pitched voice and tendency to say "super" a lot, I almost think she is an act. Especially since there are two holes where her fake tits should be. If she had a southern accent, I might buy it, but I just dont know. Also, she didnt seem real surprised about the twins until AFTEr the video was shown. which tells me either she knew all along and was acting surprised after the video ran, or she is such a dimwit that her reaction was that delayed.
so you tell me.

Thanks. Should be interesting up at Alice's this weekend - maybe there'll be a rumble! (Probably not, though, if all the non-local HAs get sucked into the Fisherman's Wharf vortex. I'm guessing the bush man will not be jumping out at them.)
