When does a backward pass become a fumble? Backward pass rules.
If the refs interpretted the fumbles as backward passes, then I see no violation. Otherwise the ball would be dead at the spot of the first fumble recovery. |

All of the "passes" made during that play were backwards, and therefore live.
The Stabler Rule only applies during the last 2 minutes of each half.
I like everyone on the board so far except one person.
