early 1994- Halle Berry films the Flintstones. No sex scenes with Kyle McGlaughlin. = late 1994- relatively peaceful times.

early 2001- Halle Berry films Monster's Ball. Simulated sex scenes with Billy Bob Thornton. = 9/11/01

coincidence?

edited to fix typo in year

It's really sad that even with her stunning looks, her success, and what appears to be a kind personality (one little accident doesn't make her a terrible person) she doesn't believe she deserves a better man.
Who would you hook her up with?

Clearly the finer points of strategy and athletic abilty are lost on you. I've found that most Americans don't have the attention span necessary for soccer. We were brought up watching sports where the action lasts for 30 seconds (or less) and then everybody gets up off the ground, lines up and tries again.

One of the beautiful things about soccer is that strategy and options are changing constantly. It's not glorified kickball. The difficulty in scoring is what makes the game so great. On any given day, any team can beat any other team. Just look at what the American men did against Portugal. On paper they were outclassed, but on the field, ooooh it was magic!

Yes, I was hooting and hollering at the TV in the wee hours of the morning last summer.

About as good as the FTC Chairman's statement that "This decision is clearly incorrect."

Sharp analysis, chief.

I played all through high school. Played on the club team in college. I watched the Men's World Cup too. And while I think it's a great sport to play, I still think it's relatively boring to watch.

Like hockey, it doesn't translate well to television--the play is too spread out to be captured on the tight shots used by television.

I got to see him again last night. Truly disgusting. His hair has this weird grey tone, like the shoe polish is starting to wash out, but not totally.

Speaking of that, would you find it weird to go to work and have the guy who played Samir hanging out around your building for a week? That's my best celebrity sighting of September, which says more for September than it does for Samir.
