Word to your Porkchop, my man. I just retired from the FB bc I cannot keep up. I have tried but its just going through the motions at this point. I am with you here. I will ask Shifter to crosspost any FB gems here and maybe post an FB wrapup post here at the end of every day in case soemthing good was discussed, like an excellent sunblock.

My cats are a strong argument that it is nature not nurture.
They are all from the same litter and their mother died when they were only a month old.
Squishy is female and is an orange and black Calico cat. She is not very muscular and pretty small.
Sam is male and is all Grey is about the same size as Squishy but is much more muscular.
Porkchop is male. He is black and white and he is huge and very muscular. He is unbelievably strong.
Squishy is not scared of human beings at all. She will snuggle up to anyone. Sam is a lot more wary of humans. He growls when a stranger comes by. But if he gets to know someone he will let him or her touch him.
Porkchop is completely paranoid. He won't let another human being even see him. He is very nervous and ducks under the bed or run away at the slightest noise. If any of the neighbors cats make the mistake of coming around when Porkchop is here he will mess them up pretty bad. He almost killed the neighbor's Dachshund. That was quite a vet’s bill.

If you notice my edit I met Cat not "can". Usually at night I will hear a lot of screaming and I will go outside and find Porkchop with the other cat rolling around on the ground. I separate them (I have gloves and a flashlight ready for just this circumstance) and take the tresspassing cat outside of the territory. If the cat is really messed up I take them to Adobe Animal hospital. They have an all night emergency room. Not surprisingly I have an account there.

You complaining about the mess of the FB after you've been away for days is like the garbage man coming back from vacation and noticing there is a lot of trash around. YOU WERE RESONSIBLE for keeping people in line. The problem you mention is a problem you created, by not be there chastising people. Its not easy- its hard work- but till now you've been working hard every day- like George Bush.
When you retire do you really want to remember abandoning the FB to that which it would be doomed?

The bottom part of the property line is bordered by thirty Acacia plants. A neighbor from Hong Kong told us that the Acacia is poisonous and if the Deer eat it they will die. Now the neighbors kids are freaking out that the Deer will eat the Acacia.
It is so hot I didn't think they would come out in the day time but here they are.

You seem to keep up with both the PB and the FB. How do you do it. Do you ever get any work done?

my PB posts are very superficial. I don't know what people are talking aobut most of the time. I do no background reading. Ty puts more time into 1 post than I do into all of the PB.

I haven't really been away. Sometimes I sit in other people's offices more than on other days. Or I am in some situation where I cant quickly flip computer screens. But it seems like there has been a lot of posting lately and a lot of it is what I will call the Green Face variety. I havent really been chastising dreck for some time, I levae taht to Less. So I cant be blamed. And I dont want to retire, its just thta, well lets face it, who has that kind of time any more?
