Even Pedro? Just want to make sure I read the memo correctly.

Yes. The "don't speak ill of the dead" free pass he would normally get for having died, and of AIDS no less, is nullified by his appearance on The Real World.

politics board readers, i ask you all to note my quote of earlier today from the Dean for Prez blog. mine was certainly not the observation of someone who routinely misses the point....

I am nothing if not humble, but still*

Not hate as in "I hate those sinners, and they will burn in eternal hellfire," but hate as in "I hate it when I'm expected to treat this guy as a saint just because he's on MTV and he died."

The fact that Judd, the talentless cartoonist, drew/wrote a "very special" book about "his friend" Pedro draws inky-black wellsprings of hate from crevases deep inside my shadow self.

And, fringey, I edited Maura's post to add a link to her imdb page. There are pictures galore. They just wouldn't load directly on this site. Besides, even Jon Stewart (back when he had a show on MTV) acknowledged Julie's cachet. One skit for viewer mail had him going out to the MTV mailbox to wade through all of Julie's fan mail to find one viewer letter.

The hard part was the slow accumulation of board cred in my Manfred sock for the setup. Oh well. It was worth it.

EVeryone lost all belief in the Manfred sock when it claimed STr8 was the connected one in Hollywood. Anyone here who reads remembers paigow explained you need older relatives in the industry to KNOW the industry. str8 has a job, sure, and his younger sister-in-law wrote a tv show; but HELLO!!!!

My ex-aunt was on Canada's LaLAw and in a major motion picture as the only not famous of 2 couples.

I'm the one with the older relative in the industry. If Jack weren't your sock* it would have referred to me.

*To be honest until this incident I thought Jack might be a not me sock- he did consistantly converse with him/her.

Outmanuevered... Reversal

All it takes is for poster A to claim you ask their sock and poster B to say "I knew it all along" and all of your board cred gets siphoned off to poster A.

Unless of course, poster B is poster A's sock. Like Atticus and Hank. Then it's a one-man conspiracy.

I knew it all along.

so far I've been called the sock of:

plated
penske
bilmore
and now Atticus. while each is flaterring in its own way, i'm really waiting for the day when my humor-rap gets me called Thurgreed's sock.

Jailblazers....

a week ago Portland trader Rashid Wallace to Atlanta for Ratliff and someone else. Today Wallace was traded essentially for the Pistons 3-5th string guards and a crippled russian guy.

1 why did Atlanta give up 2 decent players for someone it really didn't want?

2 did Rashid play in aTlanta at all?
