Dissent. Radio Clash... that would fuck her up.

Plus he can't weigh more than a buck five. Certainly not 160 to 170.

Right, like anyone could turn down dtb. Are you angling for my Dumbest crown?

My parents love that show. I think they self-identify.

Does she call you Our GWINK and when you call up does she make your dad send you a cheque, no matter how hare-brained the scheme?

Your child will not like the music that you tell her is good, but will like stuff you hate. Interestingly, she may like music that you like but haven't mentioned to her.
For example, the Not Bobette (when she condescends to go in the car with me) vetos the Sirius channel that plays music by angst-ridden chicks with guitars, and tries to get me to listen to Hip Hop Nation. We compromise by listening to Classic Rewind. ("You've heard of The Doors?")

This is a compelling reason never to have a child. Because it would be a shame to spend unimaginable amounts of time and money rearing a child and pouring all your emotions into the process only to find out some 13-15 years later that you actually despise him or her.

Bits
Am I the only one who automatically (mentall) sticks "naughty" in front of "bits"? Not that I don't think Jesus had them or anything (Mormons are really big on corporeality, after all), I'm just not used to thinking of him, you know, *that* way.
dtb and bnb, for Christmas songs without any Jesus-bit-inspired MOT guilt, I recommend Jingle Bells and Winter Wonderland and Sleigh Ride (et al.--I know there are many more), which mention the holiday and the dude not at all.

Unfortunately I have not been the recipient of cheques from her. She does call me "our", but that is just British.
She has a family much like Hyacinth's that she frequently pretends she is not related to, she hen-pecks my father and she bears a strong resemblance to Patricia Routledge.
