It was free.

Feel free to forward the following to said partner:
  • Throughout most of its history in English myriad was used as a noun, as in a myriad of men. In the 19th century it began to be used in poetry as an adjective, as in myriad men. Both usages in English are acceptable, as in Samuel Taylor Coleridge's "Myriad myriads of lives." This poetic, adjectival use became so well entrenched generally that many people came to consider it as the only correct use. In fact, both uses in English are parallel with those of the original ancient Greek. The Greek word mūrias, from which myriad derives, could be used as either a noun or an adjective, but the noun mūrias was used in general prose and in mathematics while the adjective mūrias was used only in poetry.

Worked for me!

I just did a few weeks ago! I was achy and sick and I threw up my carbs on the Saturday, did not get any sleep that night, and ran the marathon the next day (this was October 7). I did not have a good race, but it was also hot and humid and no one did. I felt like shit, but I would have felt even worse had I NOT run it after training so hard. If it were not the marathon day, I would have stayed in bed all day. But it WAS the marathon day and I had to run it then or not at all. So I ran it. It was hard.

Two weeks later I am still sick. But I am glad I ran it.

Your sister, as a trained marathoner, will know her limits. She will want to run and she should if she determines that she is "well ENOUGH" to run it.

But yes -- I think a person's entire package should match or at least "go" together. Donatella Versace is a perfect example of a WTF look.

The fact that you didn't pay for it doesn't really refute his point.

I'm sure you don't. But if po-, er icky's conspiracy theory is right, your getting a free flu shot increases the demand for flu shots, meaning your employer has to buy more flu vaccine, which benefits the medical-industrial complex that icky despises.

Depends. If you have baby fine straight hair a blow out won't do anything that a smoothing creme won't handle.

If you have thick hair with a slight wave as do I, a round brush and an ionic blow dryer does wonders for the shorter layers to go in the direction to frame the face. If you put a gelade/pomade on at the roots, it creates volume.

If you have curly hair, it straightens it.

That being said, I wash/condition my hair, towel dry it and throw on a brilliant creme [fekkai] and a gelade scrunch like the 80s are back in style and go. It's fine and my hairdresser said my hair is super healthy

I'm in the short-enough-hair-to-let-air-dry camp, so I can't relate to this at all. How can one dry hair for an hour without the result being extreme poofiness, hair loss or ignition?

True, so I decided to do a little internet research on the subject. It took me less than five minutes to find the truth! Which is that the flu shots are 70-90% effective in preventing the flu in adults, flu shots have little to no effectiveness in preventing the flu in anyone, and the flu shot is part of a massive conspiracy between the the CDC and the Big-Pharm Fascistic Puppeteers to create widespread illness and dramatically increase profits.

I'm trying to care but can't really work up the energy.

eta: That's a lie. I'm not even trying.
