Spolier Answer:

I thought this scene made perfect sense. He had every intention of killing her. At that point in the plot he believed only that the CIA had decided to screw with him, and he was going to start by taking out the new head of the program to reenforce his message to leave him alone. It's only the perspectives of his dead girlfriend that makes him call to make sure he understands what's going on. He then changes his mind based on what he hears.
I see. I guess I got the impression that the new, post-amnesia Bourne was strictly against killing innocent people unless he absolutely had to. He clearly has/had some sense of morality or else the 1st movie wouldn't have happened, but I guess his degree of morality is debateable

So for about a month straight I have not been able to go to a recent movie. The only movie I've seen at the theater was the Corporation and for that I had to buy tickets a week in advance.

So what is your secret, NYC movie-goers? Do you get there really early? Use fandango? What? I am going to start using fandango I think, because this is getting really irritating.

I either call for tickets or go on a Sunday night.

I saw it last night. My assessment of the movie parallels yours. I give a B/B-

Spoiler:

One problem I had with the movie was that Bourne had his rifle aimed at the Deputy Director's head when he found them first in Berlin. Why? He was never going to shoot her. He needed her for answers. He never let her know that he had a scope on her head. Couldn't he have done the same thing w/binoculars?

And did he just happen to have a pair of handy dandy binoculars with him? You don't just carry around a good set of binoculars the way you do a high-powered rifle.

Sometimes we just have to use what we have.

I'm not in NYC, but I've been using Fandango more and more often lately. There's a kiosk at my mutiplex of choice that lets me swipe my credit card and pick up the Fandango tickets, and usually there's never a line in front of it. I can buy tickets at the kiosk too, but I hate waiting so it's a lot easier for me to just do Fandango (or Moviefone if it's at the Angelika or one of the Landmark theaters) when I leave the house and pick up the tickets when I get to the theater.

Incidently, I really really loved Before Sunset, but I also loved Before Sunrise. It's possible that I identify with both characters and the situation a little too much. A Home at the End of the World was up and down for me. Parts of it were really good, and parts were just ok. Perhaps I was just missing Colin Farrell's cock.

Should I send out a search party?

Dear Fringey,

I am worried and need to know what I should do. I saw you in a "bad" neighborhood this morning. A place where the mean people are. And some shit about cookie recipes. Anyway, you've been missing ever since and I'm just wondering if I should send out a search party to look for your decomposing body.

Yours,

NFH

eta, obviously, if your body is decomposing you won't be able to answer. Just suffice it to know that if I don't hear from you in about an hour, I'm calling the authorities and sending out the hounds.

The dogs will have an easier time sniffing me out if my body is more fully decomposed. Like in that case in Utah.

Oh, thank god you're OK. I was worried. I thought maybe you had been dazed by all the tax talk and wandered into the woods in a stupor.

And your update, they've arrested the husband and are going to look for the pregnant woman's body in some landfill. Apparently he bought a new mattress before he reported his wife missing.
So, your decomposing body might not have been all that easy for the hounds to find.

I'm glad you're safe.

I'm sure the dogs will have no trouble locking in on the lingering scent of grilled sausage that still clings to you after your lunchtime deposition with your not-so-secret lover, Wonk. Remember, he's got a bad heart; be gentle with him next time.

I would love to put my George Foreman grill to Wanker's sausage and meatballs.

You look like George Foreman? Tell Wonk to close his eyes.

ETA: For those of you who need explanation:

Slang definition of "grill"

1. Face

2. Mouth, teeth, often used in reference to gold fronts.

Usage:

"Don't be gettin' all up in my grill."

"I'm about to go and get my whole grill hooked up with those open faced fronts."

Source: Urban Dictionary
