You already know that the Deer do not care for Apricots. Now, I am not sure what your magical Dr. Doolittleesque quality is that keeps deer from running when you approach, but it makes me wonder, do you do well with the ladies?

Apricots don't have enough pectin and the seeds are dangerous to swallow (i.e., big -- they could choke on it and/or it could rip up the intestines). Apples have little tiny seeds -- they can eat the whole thing.

I totally made that up (obviously) but it's what I'm going with until someone comes up with something better. The pit thing, not the pectin thing.

And related to this, can anyone explain why Krispy Creme doesn't sell Cream Sticks anymore? Within the last year or so, they've gone to this round monstrosity they now call a "Chocolate-iced kreme-filled,"



and eliminated the maple-iced and powdered-sugar coated varieties of cream-filled doughnuts. It's a fucking travesty and I, for one, am saddened by the prospect of a world without cream sticks.
