The scissor fight... is that actually a legitimate lesbian sex act? It seems like that would be a whole lot of physical maneuvering for a very small payoff. I'm not an anatomy professor, but I do have a fairly solid workingman's knowledge of the female body, and I just don't see the scissors being all that much fun.
In fact, depending on who's involved, it could be very velcro-like, or irritating, if there were stubble involved. People could get kicked in the face a lot. Teeth could be lost, lips could be split, noses broken, etc...

I think all but the most extreme use blunt-edged scissors.
