It's not cool of me to say this, but maybe a quick toke would ease your pain.

If that were the universal translation, then I would accept it. But sometimes it means, "It kind of sucks, but there is nothing we can do about it." And sometimes it means, "I don't feel like doing anything about that." And sometimes it means, "I have nothing else to say right now, but think that I should say something." And I am fucking sick and tired of trying to figure out what people actually mean when they say a phrase that, by itself, has no meaning.
I understand your frustration, but what can I say? It is what it is.

Of course. My knuckles are white from inner tension and my pants crusted with semen from constantly jacking off...

Or, for me, the stain in the middle of my shirt.

Big dick joke!

Yup. I'm too busy to deal with lonely, needy people.
Unless it's billable.

"Can you believe that Hank has asked me to print out the production in paper and send it to his house so he can review it over the weekend. I wonder what his wife is going to say when the semi-truck full of paper pulls up. Hah! The client is going to be pissed at that disbursement. $50,000 in TIFFing and printing charges to convert the on-line searchable database that he can access via the internet to paper because "that's the way it's always been done". Idiot."
I was trained by a lawyer who got mad if we misplaced of stained "the original" of our documents. I'm not talking about a signed paper, or something part of a document production, I mean we draft a document and print it- that is "the original," and you had better not lose it. He remembered typewriting i think.
