I must, of course, defer to your greater experience, but I note in support of my original hypothesis that Hank's methodology for voting patterns requires us to look at a county-by-county basis so the Dems look even more marginalized just because they're predominant in densely populated areas. Clark County is the cultural elite of Nevada, etc.

Exactly. Similarly, this is why I'm so comfortable about how things are going in Iraq.

AP Sues for Access to Bush Nat. Guard Records
http://www.sunherald.com/mld/sunhera...ws/8985661.htm
It will be interesting to see if the admin will keep repeating the line that it has disclosed all of his records ("and in fact did so in 2000" as Bush said on Meet the Press) while simultaneously opposing this lawsuit. Then again, maybe those two courses of action aren't as mutually contradictory as they seem to be when I type them.

The AP seems to be willing to bet money that Bush hasn't disclosed everything.

When TAS repeated sued POTUS WJC under the FOIA, many LOL and dismissed it as part of the VRWC.
So TS, do you find this silly MO of the AP OK, or is this some cheap attempt by the VLWC to make GWB look AWOL?

Well, this didn't taken long

Fuck me? Fuck you! U.S. allied Afghan troops behead 4 Taliban following the beheading of an Afghan soldier and an Afghan interpreter.
Personally, I think we should have leveled every resistant neighborhood in Fallujah weeks ago. And Ramadi yesterday. But that's just me. You'll never see me saying it in front of a TV camera.

Yeah, 'cause that would really help with the big plan to bring democracy to the Middle East. That's not draining the swamp, that's pissing in it.

At Least Breaux Stood Up for Free Speech
this is so nuts. howard has gone so far as to be pimpimg Moore's movie. moore, the US is at fault moore. I would respect Howard if he said elect Kerry because I need to get the FCC off my back, but to embrace the entire MM-Ty loony-bin fuzz brains is too much, and directly contrary to where he was a year ago. no matter, I won't listen to howard anymore- he's exposed- Face in the crowd.
but what's stupidest is that congress is doing this shit almost 100%.the house only had 22 no votes. This isn't along party lines Howard, It' fucked, sure, but Mikey ain't geting you out.

Actually, that's cutting off the head of every serpent that you see. And their brother, uncle, best friend, progeny, milkman, Not_, er, armchair quarterback. Haven't seen too many Syrian resistants once Ole Uncle Assad shelled whatchamacallit back in the day, have ya? That swamp was drained.

For Those Planning on Reading Clinton's Book
When you get to the part about Johnny Chung and James Riady, please post it here because I want to see what Clinton has to say about Chinagate but I don't want to buy the book.
TIA!!!!
