Paigow? Sir, you wound me. I was thinking of George Clooney at the end of Ocean's Eleven. ("Ted Nugent called. He wants his suit back.")

What's it going to cost me? I need to get the missus prepared.

If you like the cut and fabric of Abboud; check out faccionable. Zenga is cut for tall guys; this is especially true for Zegna overcoats. faccionable is also much cheaper than Zegna. a faccionable suit is like $800; a Zegna suit can easily cost $1,500 or $1,700.

Ug boots: Trendy 10 years ago
Ug boots were trendy in 1990, giver or take. They're still popular among surfers, and given the revival among yuppies, poseurs.

Formrer poster Circa Dragon once told me that Zegna was for men who want to look like "50 year old Italian guys"
Depending upon the location in Italy, this could be either a very good or a very, very bad thing.

Oddly enough, not the look I'm shooting for.

But now Ugg boots come in baby blue and pink and are one of Oprah's favorite things. http://www.oprah.com/presents/holida...cloth_07.jhtml
They aren't hardcore enough for me. I'm a Sorel fan; if you live in Minnesota, have to wear Canuck boots.
But I have shearling slippers and they are comfy plus.

Sorels aren't Canadian any more. The company was bought by Columbia Sportswear, so now you're wearing Oregonian boots.

Things I don't understand.
1. Sprint commercial with sorority girls screaming, crying and generally having hysterics over night time calling starting at 7.
2. Sprint commercial with frat boys screaming, crying and generally having hysterics over night time calling starting at 7.
Is there something about the Greek system and 7 p.m. or are these ads just not funny?
3. The local ultra-liberal college will offer a limited number of coed dorm rooms. Rooms will be available to all students (potential roommates would have to apply together) but the request came from the gay, lesbian and transgendered student organization. That's the part I don't get. Would it be (A) for the benefit of pre-operative transgendered students so someone who is still technically a man but living as a woman won't have to room with a guy? (B) for the benefit of gay/lesbian students who don't want roommates to whom they might be sexually attracted, (C) some obvious and logical reason that is escaping me, or (D) all of the above?

This just means I have to oil up my old Sorels for a few more years.
Heck, they're older than my kids. Combined.
Warmer, too.

Mine are not older than any of your kids, but are old enough to be Made in Canada. But I may have to get some Oregonian felt liners for the -25 degrees pair (those are my "dress" boots; the others are -40 degrees boots that make Uggs look attractive).

How did TD Waterhouse hire Sam Waterston away from Old Glory Insurance? Doesn't Bilmore have a policy from Old Glory to protect him against robots?
You know, robots steal old people's medicine at night for fuel, and when they grab you with their metal claws, you can't break free, because robots are strong.
(Best SNL Cameo of past 5-10 years.)
I despise the blonde on L&O Original Recipe.
And RICHARD BELZER plays Detective Munch, previously a detective in Baltimore's famed Homicide Unit.
And Dick Wolf rotate's the cast because L&O about plot, not character.

How can a show with both Jill Hennessey and Miguel Ferrer be mediocre? Str8, you have any pull downtown? I think DA Cooley should start a grand jury investigation into why Crossing Jordan is unwatchable.

No offense, but, duh. That's because the Yanks make the market. A player is only worth what somebody is willing to pay for them, and with the best local television/radio contract in the league, George can pretty much pay what he wants for who he wants. What is a player supposed to do, say no? George's practices are largely why my team was often confused with a AAA Yankee farm club for years. Unfortunately, they could be starting to look that way again. So sympathy for George, because he pays too much for players, won't come from me.
