How can you equate the rantings of anonymous bloggers, or of anonymous emailers, to the actions of a United States Senator or of one of the most celebrated pundits of the Republican right?
For all you know, the people sending those emails to your friend, and the bloggers, are a group of anarchists, or self-important college students, or Penske socks.

Wasn't the type of reasoning implied in this ironic statement the same type of reasoning Bush used when McCain asked Bush to apologies for his supporters accusing McCain have having an illegitimate child etc?

So when I post an article, the writer of that article immediately becomes "my friend".

"I understand that there are dumbshit 'commenters' to 'blogs' in which the 'commenters' are saying hateful shit about my opponent. I denounce it, and denounce them.
I also denounce the homeless man standing at the corner of Grant and Washington screaming all kinds of hateful shit, some of which seemed to include my opponent, together with Bush, the war in Iraq, the poor quality of cream cheese and the regrettable state of children's programming today."

Perhaps I'm not recalling the facts well, but I thought it was pretty clear that the Bush campaign was behind those smears in some fashion -- that they both wanted people to know how bad-ass they were but also to maintain some deniability.
Lanny Davis found a few kooks posting freeper-style ranting on the internet, but why is that worth writing about? Why bother to post it here? BTW, you know that Lanny Davis is basically working for Lieberman, right?

I have never liked Lani Davis, and I don't really care about the Liebermann campaign. What I find funny is it took this guy until his fifties (maybe sixties) to figure out that people on the left are just as bigoted and hypocritical as people on the right.
He shares the same first name as one of the most celebrated bigots of the left, and he tried to help put that women in the Attorney General's office. It would have been nice if he had considered left wing bigotry before he tried to help put that vicious hypocritical bigot into a position of such responsiblity.

If you think Lani Guinier is a bigot, either you are an idiot or you do not understand what the word means. I tend to think it's the latter, but you could prove me wrong yet.

So why are you posting photo-shopped pictures of a much older Senator Byrd in a KKK uniform? Why the hate? Why the malicious lies and the reckless disregard for the truth? Why do you hate America so much?
|
Please! Do you really want me to detail, again, Byrd's history with the KKK, his false denials and insincere apologies?
For my part, from the moral highground, being the bigger man (no fat jokes haters!) I apologise to America for my role, if any, to the extent I had a role, in inflicting a racist like Jesse Helms on America. Since my days with the RNC I have attempted to do penance for my work, if any, in furtherance of Helms' former hold on his Senate seat, by volunteering my time and expertise to causes that combat the endemic institutional racism that haters like Helms and the Democrat Daley family in Chicago perpetuate.
Can't you see it within yourself to apologise to America for the hate your Democrat party inflicts on us with Byrd as its conscience? I know you are better than this Ty. Why the racist, anti-semitic hate-America firstism?

I apologize for not dumbing down that post so that simple-minded cretins like yourself would understand that it contains facts not available on the interwebs at the time of the earlier post.
|
Why the denial of honesty Ty? Your post implied Lieberman was a dumbass and deadbeat? Why the malice? Why the reckless disregard of the truth? Forget your America hating, why are you hating on your own party's former vice-standard bearer? His support of freedom for Iraquis? or continued existence for Israel? [GASP]

Why can't you just admit that you made a mistake and apologize?
And why do you hate America? Why do you divert attention from your America-hating with this divisive talk about racism and anti-Semitism?

- Apparently the Lieberman campaign is pushing a story that we have coordinated an attack against their website. Not a chance. Here痴 the unqualified statement Sean Smith has called for.
If Senator Lieberman痴 website was indeed hacked, we had absolutely no part in it, denounce the action, and urge whoever is responsible cease and desist immediately. It is our sincerest wish that everyone planning to vote for Ned Lamont or Joe Lieberman does so today.

Once again, I'm sorry that I used words with more than five letters and sentences with more than four words -- in so doing, I surely prevented you from understanding what I had posted, and for that I am deeply sorry.

[W]hy are you hating on your own party's former vice-standard bearer?

Hey -- that's actually a good question. Because he's a sanctimonious prig who cares too much about getting kinds words and kisses from Republicans and not enough about how those Republicans are making a clusterfuck of the United States and assorted Middle Eastern countries. Because he places himself before the Democratic Party. Because the moderator in the 2000 vice-presidential debate had to keep admonishing him to stop kissing Dick Cheney's posterior. Because he is a symbol of much that ails the Democratic Party.

Why the hate Sidd? Why the lies? You know that is my not my sock and if you honestly don't, which I don't believe, you know who can ask for affirmation. Why the petty attempt to defame me?

Evidently your disregard for the truth is such that you are happy to call someone a liar simply because you support their opponent. Why, bilmore, why?

Sorry -- brain fart. I should have said "the unidentified friend of the author of the article."
You realize, of course, that this makes your effort (and Davis' effort) to cast this behavior as indicative of the behavior of liberals, or Democrats, or anyone else in general even thinner... if such a thing is possible.
