Which the local "alternative" station also play.

KGON rawks. In high school it was kind of cool, but now it just seems a little pathetic.

POTY Question

I'd say they have more of a chance for POTM for the reasons you have stated. Also, it depends on the poster. It's like Martin Scorcese and the Academy Awards. He may win this year for the Departed (which is an excellent film, no doubt) but the award would be for recognition of his entire body of work. If a poster has an impressive collection of posts, but has never had an award-winning zinger, you could possibly give POTY to him/her on the basis of the post you are thinking of, while recognizing that it's really for the entire body of work.

Soph. year in high school, I actually got threatened on the school bus for suggesting that someone should slip "Anarchy in the UK" into the KGON playlist.
They still have some of the same DJs, including "Marty Party."

Oh, thank god. For the longest time, I thought it was me.

Flinty, time to cash in a bunch of Google options, because Ironweak and I are going to need about a bale of that sticky Humboldt green to work our way through this one.

I'm waay ahead of you. Or am I, in fact, perhaps in an alternative multiverse, communing with your soul right now? Wow, this stuff is really good.

OMG
So my husband just called from a "location" that he is visiting. He said that this location is in horrific condition because there is no sustained rhythm in place. And that in order to change, someone is going to have to add value.
Should I divorce him or stab him over the cell phone?

Just because he's visiting one bad location?
What if he's able to help them leverage their assets and obtain synergy with their partners to as to facilitate a good-news exit scenario? And if by doing that, he becomes a post-paycheck boy on the beach?

So that's what the guys with visitor badges are talking about in the conference room down the hall.

Starbucks once asserted that a particular town didn't have "the right retail synergy" to open a storefront.

For some reason this post caused Corey Hart's "Boy in the Box"* to pop into my head. I now officially hate you.
*don't hate me because when I was a pre-teen I listened to bad Canadian top 40 radio.
