I feel as though I've been lied to by a friend for years and years. What else have you failed to tell us all, Ms. Eaze? Please hold while I schedule my counseling session.

Please. Some of us are vegetarians.

Those veggie sausages look larger, and not so raw. Hmmm.

This brings up a good point. If Sausage Awareness Month falls in February, and Lent starts on February 25, Mr. Dean will spend the first 25 days of the month persuading people to be aware of, and perhaps love, sausage. His converts and the true believers may love sausage so much that they are forced to abstain from eating sausage during the Lenten fast. Perhaps he could be persuaded to post-pone Sausage Awareness Month until April or May, when the faithful and the new converts can enjoy sausage with abandon?

Yes. Absolutely. Without question. Especially if the house is occupied.
You have to clean the kitchen, bathroom, make the bed, pick up the sex toys, dust and vacuum for a complete stranger. And if they find out you're stroking, they have the right, then, to kick your ass. Same with the real estate agent who, would rather be at home watching reruns of Baywatch than driving your ass to someplace you have no intention of buying. Time wasted. Agent also has the right to kick your ass if they find out.

You mean bad, more than just wasting someone's time? Bad because you're snooping at a neighbor's house?

If you're looking at houses what's the problem with assessing what's out there?

Does it make a difference if the house is totally empty and the real estate agent is showing it to someone else shortly after they show it to you? Oddly enough, this is the situation. Nice of you to counter only with things that don't fit.

I'm not in the market for a house for at least a couple years. But I'm thinking of eventually buying in the neighborhood the house is in, and want to get an idea of what one can get for $X.

So, does she have to give back the ring?

You're wasting even less of someone's time this way.

Market transactions are amoral, unless you're buying babies.

Do you think that JLo finally figured out that Afflack is gay (NTTAWWT). But even if he were hetero, did anyone seriously think he was going to marry Jenny from the hood? I mean, he may not be the smartest guy running around this earth, but the small-brain/large-ass/I hail from the ghetto type of woman doesn't strike me as his cup of tea.

I'm surprised you would have any qualms in this situation. You are only wasting the agent's time if there is absolutely no chance that you would ever buy any house where she was the seller's agent, or ever hire her as your agent (buyer's or seller's), and you can't know that until you meet her and see what kind of market she works in. This is sales, contacts are important. It would be another matter if the family had to clean out and clear up for your visit.

Then you need to be more specific in the future.
So why would you want to waste your own time looking at a house you have no interest in?
