Here is what I think about pushups. When I was growing up, I was told, time and time again, that girls could not do men's pushups and we had to do those stupid bent-knee ones. Then I meet my trainer who comes from Romania where none of that drivel was drilled into girls' heads and all of a sudden I'm doing pushups. People think that girls have weak upper bodies. Yes, they have weaker upper bodies than men and proportionately, are never going to be as strong as men relative to lower body, but I think the strength of women's upper bodies is wildly underestimated. If it gets no work, of course it is going to be weak -- but with a little work, it can get in pretty good shape. Certainly better shape than 6 pushups in two minutes.

How does Clinton Portis end up with Flava Flav's cast-offs? I could see it working the other way around, but that is just weird.

FWIW, in my run class, with a fairly fit group of people ranging from their late twenties to their early 40s (with one guy in his 60s that beats the shit out of nearly all of us), when we do pullups, the guys are usually not fatigued (on the first set) until their fourth or fifth rep. The women (if they're lucky to get up, I did my first unassisted pull up on Monday!) sort of konk out after two. The women seem to knock out real pushups a little slower than half as fast as the men.

The first three or four runners in the pack are always men, then there's a mix of men and women, then mainly women (with a few men). Then me.

We don't generally do situps in my run class, so I don't really know how different we are in terms of ab strength. But last week, I knocked out 40 in a minute.

I'm not too sure that SHE's the cast-off. She did not look that excited to see him at the reunion show. He had to ask her to sit closer to him on the couch. Not a good sign. And she was gesturing to the audience when they were kissing. When I'm enjoying a kiss, I'm generally not point at my partner and making thumbs-up gestures.

I like that Toasty got kicked off for doing "porn" (which apparently consisted of pictures of her masturbating), and Nibblz was kicked off for charging people to watch her pole dance on the internet (and Flav didn't want his children exposed to that) and Deleeshus is portrayed as a stand-up, churchgoing ,doting mother when in actuality she has her own pay-per-view website and pictures of her naked ass are all over the internet.

To be honest, the only female this season who didn't come off as a complete ho was New York. She may have "taken a chunk" out of Flav, but at least there aren't hoochie photos of her all over the internet and she hasn't participated in any of those porn-y magazine layouts that all the other girls (including the supposed virgin, Tiger) have done.

Someday in the distant future, when archaelogists dig through electronic records to get insight into our culture, I hope they find this post.

This commentary on the show is so entertaining, it seems unnecessary to watch it.

Try compartmentalising your life. Hitting it 3x day won't cure the huge suck that is the law, but it will help it keep that suck from ruining the remaining 4-5 hours a day you have.
