I have some tattoo plans, too.

I've had that for years and it's irritating as hell. At one point it looked like I had irregularly shaped brown blush on. One dermatologist reduced them in size by freezing them, but that left ugly patches while they healed. I'm afraid of the laser because a friend of mine had it done for her rosacea and said the doctor told her that people who are darker than pasty white (which I am), could end up with an uneven "finish." Let me know if you get this done and how it turns out.

hmmm. I'm not exactly white, either. Mine's right on my cheekbones, right over my lips, and on my forehead. I'm surprised people don't ask me if I'm pregnant. I first got it when I was 18, two days before prom, but it's gotten worse over the years, especially after I sit in the sun. I spent too much time in the sun the first day it got really nice in April, and it's worse this year than it's ever been before. I've thought about the bleaching, but see, "not exactly white," above. Foundation is my friend.

Oh, and on my list of procedures, add my PRK surgery for my eyes. Twice. Pure vanity. And I'd do it again in a heart beat.

Be careful. I have the typical asian tone and I'm afraid of laser since my skin darkens when scarred. and after kids my skin tone went from clear to uneven.

I use Laura Mercier Secret camoflauge. it works well.

Is this really true? I don't have time to go back and check, but for some reason I feel certain that this statement is inaccurate. I don't have a dog in this fight (actually, I do, but I like saying that), but I do have an interest in maintaining strict accuracy standards on the Board. Without standards for accuracy and mental discipline, we might as well be an internet chatting board for landscapers or artists or some other lesser occupation.
