I just googled and I feel bad for mocking the name of an accomplished Olympian.

It's not nearly as funny as, say, pegging gramps, but it's not completely unfunny.
Judged, of course, by the funniness standards here, which are more like the looks standards at a dive bar in Minneapolis at 2 pm than the looks standards for a Victoria's Secret catalog.

Indeed. And kind of tall, probably.

Not to mention bad spelling, good hair, love of jam bands, elitist sense of entitlement, dislike of the striving upwardly mobile, and funnyness (intentional and otherwise).
[Sigh] I do miss her.

I think so. She's also got a permanently surprised expression -overplucked brows. not that any of that is relevant to her accomplished-ness. Or her body-hotness.

Is that an original whiff?
I made that connection because I think that woman who played Al Bundy's neighbor on that wretched show was named Amanda, and when she came out as a lesbian it was a big deal because she was concerned about the effect on her career. And then I used it in a sentence: Nicole Kidman* needed Amanda Beard so she married Tom Cruise.
*NTISSAL and if I were, NTTAWWT.

I think I might have to give her the "too skinny." But that is probably required of a world class high jumper.
And she has no hips to speak of.
But as a gift, I give you this pose:

Amanda gets my vote. To me, a much more appealing body than Amy.
But in related news, is this not one of the better days on this board or what?

Strangely enough, I once had a friend travel for a weekend in Minneapolis and come back to tell me how hot all the women are there.
Um.. I was confused and wondered if he got sidetracked in Brazile or something.

That hurts. People who know me well know that I've never started anything in my life. Heck, it took the promise of an hot afghani breakfast to get me out of bed this morning.

A hot afghani breakfast?
Is this a euphemism for something?
