I thought the Sox owned NESN, but maybe I'm wrong. Don't recall when that happened.
Nick Cafardo in today's Globe:
- To calculate Matsuzaka's financial impact on the Red Sox, Boras said, he will use Hideki Matsui as a benchmark. Boras said he's heard from Japanese sources that Matsui brings in $21 million per season for the Yankees in advertising and marketing, so he wasn't blown away by the $51.1 million bid.
Of course, that's Boras talking.

And what exactly are these other moves into the Japanese market the Sox have made?

Oops, my mistake. Byung Sun Kim and Hee Seop Choi were both Korean. It is a new market.
Although that just increases the marketing upside, no?

I'm a big fan of the filet and NY strip. What's your take on ribeye? When I'm grilling at home, I usually try to get ribeyes from Balducci's.

Sebastian does not like eating pussy. Nor does he enjoy women sucking his cock. I'm not implying anything, just remembering his faggy little sexual preferences.

So I get back to the hotel room tonight (Hi Ty and RP!) and caught the end of the Dancing with the Stars finale. Will Emmitt put the Disco Ball trophy on the same shelf as his Heisman?
Have they aired The Bachelor finale yet? The 'Prince' grew up down the street from me. He was the annoying little annoying twerp in the neighborhood.
And AON, I found a string of Mardi Gras beads in the law school moot courtroom where I'm attending my conference. What the heck did you folks DO in law school?

Not sure if this has been discussed before, but hey, cutting and pasting seems to be all the rage these days, so I'll ask away. What percentage of people do you think watch these shows versus watch and vote? Mrs. Chef loves all of that type of show, but refuses to call in and vote. She will watch every episode of American Idol, from the first casting calls through the finale, but looks down her nose at those who call in to vote.

Interesting. I did not know those preferences. Nor can I say that I understand them.

S&M Prenup
Woman and hubby had a master-slave contract spelling out the rules of their S&M relationship. She looks pretty decent for a nut job that is a "self-proclaimed pain slut" that enjoys being "flogged, caned, and birched."

My usual contribution to Turkey Day at the in-laws is cranberries made with raspberries, port, brown sugar. Very tasty, and far superior to the canned cranberry stuff my mother-in-law typically pulls out.
I have just leared that because of the historical failing of an aunt in the appetizer department, we are now asked to bring appetizers as well. I am not sure I have ever had an appetizer at Thanksgiving (unless copious amounts of wine counts as an appetizer). Anyone have any recommendations?

I am happy to take some off of your hands if that helps.
(I am eating a sugar free creamsicle at the moment and it is beyond disappointing . . .)

Copious amounts of beer?
Doritos and/or cheeseballs for the football games?

From his wiki, it seems like it. It's not surprising, he writes pompously.
Pie crust thing is on the food board.
