I am glad to be unburdened of my misimpression. Many thanks.

Well consider yourself burdened again. FBI involvement in these types of things is well-published. Example

From article: In Part One of the series, Stalkfleet interviewed FBI Special Agent Robin Andrews, Pima County Sheriff's Department Detective Jefford Englander and Pima County Attorney's Office Criminal Investigator John Taylor, all members of the Southern Arizona Sexual Assault Felony Enforcement Team.
The team finds people who go online to lure minors for sexual activities or who receive, distribute or produce child pornography. The team has made 28 arrests and executed 46 search warrants in Pima County since 1999, Andrews said.
In the show, Taylor demonstrates how a pedophile can go into a chat room and find young people's names, ages, addresses and other personal information if they have filled out online profiles.
"People 24 hours a day try to sexually exploit children through online services," he said. "Cyberspace is just as dangerous as the real world."

the guy said "hi" not "will you fuck me?"
the prudent thing was to block his known names, and change our accounts. These aren't hypotheticals I'm raising.

Why not message him back from that account and ask him if his wife and the school board know that he's befriending young girls on the internet?

pig latin timmy. at Pennypacker we were taught that acronyms are treated like words, thus not "B-Pay" but "P-ay B-ay"

Mea culpa and point taken. Rather than learning the finer grammatical points of pig Latin, my salad days were spent in the Lanman-Wright courtyard coming up with witty anagrams and palindromes ("Can I attain a 'C'?"). I think they also taught us not to piss on our hands --- I think that's offered as an elective at Harvard now. The Core Curriculum's gone downhill, tut tut.

Isn't "chickenshit" one word? Or is there a hyphen? Or perhaps an apostrophe s after chicken to indicate possessive, as in "shit of the chicken"? I'm confused. dtb?

I recently started a new job and unfortunately someone from my past who works at my new firm (unbeknownst to me) just sent me an email to the following effect: "I have this feeling that I know you". This embarrasses me for two reasons - (1) that the sex that we had was apparently less than memorable and (2) that he does, however, remember me, and eventually he will remember that we had sex and be embarrased for me that he didn't remember right off the bat. Arrgh.
On another note, I am happy, however, that 33,642 Canadians voted for the Marijuana Party yesterday, more than the total votes for the Libertarian and Communist and Marxist-Leninist Party combined. I am also curious as to why we have both a Communist Party and a Marxist-Leninist Party.

Of course I remember. I was just being circumspect in case anyone's reading my emails. Welcome!

Only one word (or hyphenated) when used as an adjective. Ie., "That was a really chickenshit thing to do."

Shouldn't you be more curious why you weren't invited to the Marijuana Party?

If you hadn't used red bikini chick as your wallpaper and a slideshow of the rest of TMBDII as your screen saver, she never would have thought to look.
