Come on, man. You don't remember the level of detail Penske comes up with for his stupid socks? He probably has a bunch of patent info that he waits to put into some post to make it look legit. It doesn't really matter as it should be banished to everyone's Land of Fu either way.
It may have been a real person at one point (although I doubt that shit too), but now I firmly believe it's Penske.

I wasn't convinced until it said "No worries." It couldn't have been more calculated to annoy if it signed off with "Cheers."

Ugh. Y'all know better than I would.
These Penske socks are like toenail fungus. I've never used the "ignore" function before, but maybe it's time to start.

ETA that another tipoff should have been his curiously mild response to being called a mouthbreather--he was just happy I fell for the sock.

No amount of showering will ever make you feel clean after you realize you have . . . amused Penske by playing with one of his socks. I recommend booze and prescription medication to dull the pain.

Nevermind, I feel dirty and putrid for wasting my time even writing this.

You say "I feel dirty and putrid" like that's a feeling you don't enjoy. C'mon, Lester.

Way to kill the fucking board, Sidd. This may come as a shock to you, but some of us have work we're trying to ignore.

Mildly Amusing.
I just saw this ad in the classifieds of the local paper:
"ADORABLE AKC Lab Puppies!
$350; 1 fat ugly one, $250."

What's Wrong with looking Good?
Seriously, what is wrong with looking good? Men put so much pressure on women to look good and reward looking good so why not try to look your best? I don't see what is wrong with that. I don't feel good when I look like a slob. I really don't see what the big deal is. unless I struck a nerve. heh

Nothing. You're worth at least $100 more on the open market.

Well, since you asked for my levelheaded but mildly disapproving opinion, here's Not Bob's ruling -- (1) barely shouldn't have asked hank to tell ppnyc to drink drano, as it was Not Nice; (2) ppnyc shouldn't have played the "unmarried" card in response, which is Really Not Nice; (3) I can't remember what Winona (Rb) said, but I am sure that it was Not Nice; and (4) ppnyc shouldn't have said that Winona was fat (AoN, that's an especially ineffective attack since I believe that it is Not True, but ppnyc didn't know that), and that was Not Effective, but Not Not Effective On Purpose.
In short, barely snarked a bit, but ppnyc was overly mean in response. I can't really comment on Winona versus ppnyc. Does that cover it?

Not to parse too much, but it's Not the calling someone "Not Married" that's "Not Nice."

NotBob, you seem to belosing your touch. You're supposed to make it so all the laydees are cooing and flirting with you* after you end the fight.
*But in a way that is defensible to your wife should she happen upon your vitural pillowfight.

AoN, why does Penske get blamed for all socks? I can think of several notorious socks where the hand inside was Kafka or Chef. And hat's not even counting the reasonably amusing ones created by others who are still around here on a more than occasional basis (yes, I am talking about myself; everybody just loves the wacky hijinks of my creations on the Politics Board -- Franklin Pierce Brosnan and Sparky Anderson Cooper).
Anyway, not that this should have any impact on whether or not you find her vapid or annoying, but ppnyc is not a Penske sock.
