The allure of Santa Fe escapes me. I've been there a bunch of times and actually found Albuquerque a lot more interesting. Sandia Peak tram ride is pretty cool. You're suspended at some ungodly height for most of the ride to the peak. Watching dudes hang glide with oxygen tanks from the top is nuts. They jump off and get sucked upward into the clouds, I guess in some sort of heat vent or air current, and disappear. It's pretty badass.

Nothing. The page linked states that if you're just driving through, quarantine doesn't apply to you. How could it?

We usually go to Ft. Worth and cut across on 287 to Amarillo. Once you hit I-40, it's fine. That's a long, long way though.

It's a maddeningly vague order. My sister was staying there when it was handed down, and no one could interpret it. She went ten miles across the Colorado border (to a county with no cases the entire time) and came back, and ended up quarantining for the two weeks. They interpreted it to mean stay in the house as much as possible, but you can go to the grocery store for pick up.
No one, at least in Taos, was really enforcing it, though I talked to someone there a few days ago who said that most of the locals are a) not happy about it, and b) still don't like the tourists because they're blaming this whole thing on them.
I'm waiting until October to go.

lil help
Anyone know a lawyer who works in handling putting secrecy procedures in place? A client is starting a company that will sell stuff online for pickup. So there are getting customer credit card info. They wonder what they need to have in place to protect that information.

They need to be PCI compliant. In my experience with small companies, that stuff is handled by operations-type people, not lawyers.

So, Kamala Harris.

Among other things, Sebby has his excuse to go waste his vote on a third party again. Good times.

She’s good for the market. That’ll get the ‘rents to the finish line.
Good pick for him. Blunts Trump’s “law ‘n order” pitch.
Front loading all possible income we can into this year. I think Biden is going to be wretched on income taxes. He’ll of course do little if anything on cap gains and corp taxes, but high earning professionals are going to be screwed.

High-earning professionals in a lot of blue states (like mine) were screwed by the Republicans' cap on the deduction of state and local taxes. Democrats want to fix it. I know it doesn't fit your preferred narrative about how Republicans make you money, but there it is.
