We'd be a lot better off in this country if people stopped speaking with their "hearts" and started speaking with brains. I'm sick of having to listen to people's "beliefs". Every idiot has a "belief" and thinks its as valid as science these days.

I'm all in favor of improving. I'm just flummoxed at the politics, logistics, and the cost.

The problem is that Kerry isn't president. When Kerry is President, him, Chicac and Schroeder will put an end to this sort of injustice.

I once lived next to a house full of Basque exchange students, who rotated in and out. I can up your sample size to about 12, and they were all furry. Even the women.

No, as I've explained numerous times here to you, the reason that we don't win the war on Drugs is because we didn't declare war on you. Which is okay with you (Duh!). Do you cry for the kids in the poor neighborhoods racking up felonies? Noooo, just as long as nobody's coming after you with those charges, its all fun and games. Mmm, hmm. Like you have a clue about the war on drugs.

shfm: "George Bush is one member of the younger generation who doesn't get his kicks from pot or hashish or speed. Oh, he gets high, all right, but not from narcotics" -- is this a reference to his preference for coke and alcohol? Is speed even a narcotic? Aren't narcotics things that make you sleepy? Ditto on coke. Maybe it is just referring to his cocaine habit.

Yeah, because praying is gonna get rid of a hijacked judiciary. The two aren't exactly incompatible, but Roe's not gone without federalism.

How NICE of you to not disagree with that notion. Pretty sad that you even have to qualify that statement with so many words.

Okay, Diane. Tell me. In fact, enlighten ALL of us. Explain to me how the US is going to fix the whole fucking world. Perhaps you could start by telling us all where you're going to find the tens of millions of troops it will take to invade the whole fucking world? Or would you rather tell me how much higher you are willing to see your tax bill go to pay for those troops and their supplies?
Or would you rather tackle the question of how the US suddenly dropping Navy Seals into Cyprus, Indonesia, East Timor, and Haiti, while the Special Forces and Marineas handle Turkey, Israel, Lebanon, Syria, Chad, the Sudan, and the rest of Africa isn't going to result in North Korea, Russia, Pakistan, India, etc. into letting their nukes fly before we take them out too?
How many innocent women, children, and others are you going to find acceptable as collateral casualties in all this? Oh, and while you're at it, if we're shooting up the whole fucking globe, how are we going to keep the folks at home safe and secure? What about the economy when we can't export any good and services because we're too busy killiing everynbody and destroying their economies?
Pussy, indeed. Stupid fucking assclown.

Explained: This was actually a quote from a Texas Air National Guard Press Release during that era.

Roe would be gone if there were a constitutional amendment banning abortion, and that's not federalistic.

I do. I think it is awful. Most of them have substance abuse problems, which is a genetically-based mental illness.

Are you sure its genetic instead of learned? I've read of polygamist families where the negative character traits of the several "moms" can cross to the children of the others.
