Who in the middle class got lower taxes from Bush?
Um, I did, effectively, buy not paying higher and higher taxes?

OK. I know of the one.

It was not two pics of the same woman in front of the same home used two weeks apart. It was the same woman, in front of two different houses, both of which were alleged to be hers, used two weeks apart. Big difference.
The photos I saw with the same woman appeared to have been taken in the exact same spot. There may be other photos with a single woman in front of different ex-houses.

The issue that has many right-wing blogs in a fury is not so much the shit-poor photoshopping by the photographer. The larger issue, which Reuters and the AP are not addressing, is the allegation that Hizbollah and these photgraphers are staging "massacres."
I have seen the allegations that Hezbollah is murdering children and blaming the deaths on Israeli, but no substantiation. I have seen actual evidence of photoshopping to juice up photos.

Plainly, an attempt to skirt the fact that the intelligence was otherwise.

CIA has imperfect record on intelligence. Perhaps the Bush admin was factouring that in.

Let's be clear: I am not a Hillary fan, for a variety of reasons. So while you keep playing this game of Clinton gotcha, you're the only one on the field. But if keeping score of those goals makes you happy, go nuts.

Perhaps. More likely, they had made up their mind about what they wanted to do and had set to work to build public support for it. In either event, the public statement was misleading.

Hell, some cowboys ride four-wheelers, and some just put on their boats to hang out in bars.

Still, time for some soul-searching -- you're too young to sound this old.
My, my, but how you compartmentalize and generalize...

Is that he's a TV exec supposed to give him some Big Biz cred I should defer to, being the nasty GOP-leaning Libertarian I am? Or is it meant to imply he's in such a cutting edge industry, he couldn't be anything but understated and droll?

Would it shock you if I told you television is not a repository of high IQs? Would you gasp if you were to learn running a successful business and being a bleeding heart aren't mutually exclusive?

I've listened to the man and I find him shrill and naive. I applaud the grass roots effort's success. It's an example of our system's brilliance. Sadly, this is the wrong example, at the wrong time, lauded by people without the eyes or experience to realize they're winning the sort of battle which will ultimately lead them to lose the war.

Are you stupid? There is one Democrat candidate. He is running as an independent. there is no subset of the Democrat party known as Democrat (Independent). He is up for grabs and money rules everything around this game. And he is taking R money in this one. Or at least that is my understanding from the patriots I know in CT.

So your concern is that either (1) the captions were in errors, or (2) some fake grief was staged. I don't know. I kind of thought that the point was that there were destroyed houses about.

Actually, it appears your party's big guns are already on the case:

Quote:
Friends,

Let the resounding defeat of Senator Joe Lieberman send a cold shiver down the spine of every Democrat who supported the invasion of Iraq and who continues to support, in any way, this senseless, immoral, unwinnable war. Make no mistake about it: We, the majority of Americans, want this war ended — and we will actively work to defeat each and every one of you who does not support an immediate end to this war.

Nearly every Democrat set to run for president in 2008 is responsible for this war. They voted for it or they supported it. That single, stupid decision has cost us 2,592 American lives and tens of thousands of Iraqi lives. Lieberman and Company made a colossal mistake — and we are going to make sure they pay for that mistake. Payback time started last night.

I realize that there are those like Kerry and Edwards who have now changed their position and are strongly anti-war. Perhaps that switch will be enough for some to support them. For others, like me — while I'm glad they've seen the light — their massive error in judgment is, sadly, proof that they are not fit for the job. They sided with Bush, and for that, they may never enter the promised land.

To Hillary, our first best hope for a woman to become president, I cannot for the life of me figure out why you continue to support Bush and his war. I'm sure someone has advised you that a woman can't be elected unless she proves she can kick ass just as crazy as any man. I'm here to tell you that you will never make it through the Democratic primaries unless you start now by strongly opposing the war. It is your only hope. You and Joe have been Bush's biggest Democratic supporters of the war. Last night's voter revolt took place just a few miles from your home in Chappaqua. Did you hear the noise? Can you read the writing on the wall?

To every Democratic Senator and Congressman who continues to back Bush's War, allow me to inform you that your days in elective office are now numbered. Myself and tens of millions of citizens are going to work hard to actively remove you from any position of power.

If you don't believe us, give Joe a call.

Yours,
Michael Moore

P.S. Republicans — sorry to leave you out of this letter. It's just that our side has a little housecleaning to do. We'll take care of you this November.

I don't know Lamont enough to make many claims about him. I hope he turns into something good. It's you I'm really concerned about. Don't be so square. It's not a long journey from where you are here to starting cocktail hour at 3:00 so you can be first in line for dinner at 5:00.

Yes, because for the last eight year, the Democratic platform has secretly been centered on raising taxes for the middle class.

And whie I don't know what you are making these days, if you were a Biglaw associate, you have no claim to being "middle class."

Actually, the point still is that Hezbollah continues to randomly launch rockets into Israel while hiding amongst human shields in residential areas.
