Nah. If it's a handsome ass, it doesn't need categorization. Unless, of course, there are several asses in view and I might want to narrow down which of the asses I'm referring to.

This is a nice segue into something I'd been thinking about asking here as part of the ongoing discussion on racial name calling.
Earlier this fall, someone calling into an AM radio show hosted by a black woman made a comment that the local gossip columnist (also black) found outrageous and racist and I thought was more stupid than racist. It got me wondering where the line between stupidity and racism might be or if at a certain point stupidity is racist. Yes, deep thoughts from Fugee on a cold night.
So, the topic of the show one evening was Minnesotans whining about cold weather. One guy, a recent transplant (and presumably white), was saying he didn't know what to expect. His comment that got him cut off the air was "I'm scared, you know, I don't know how your black ass survives through it..."
Flippant and/or snarky comments involving "your [adjective] ass" seem to be not uncommon. So on the one hand, it could just be a guy trying to be funny on the air by making one of those comments. Both the radio host and the columnist took the comment as being racist. I'm not sure whether it was that or just monumentally clueless.
The columnist's bottom line was this to someone who wrote in questioning whether they were overrreacting: Let me help: Say all you want about Steele's behind, but you CANNOT give it a color. When you do that, it suggests that you are racist.
Stupid? Racist? Or stupid and racially offensive?**
**For the record, I can't imagine a circumstance in which I would say "your black ass." I'm just more curious where the line gets drawn.

Sounds like he was calling in to a black radio show and trying to be funny. I'd go with, stupid and racially insensitive.
But I can see why they'd be upset. When you add "black" as the modifier that makes whatever you're saying about someone negative (see "fat" ass, "dumb" ass, "ugly" ass), then you're opening yourself up to being called on it. Same as if a black person called a radio station and said something in a similar context about a dj's "white ass."

Note that this response works equally well for the "oryx/kudu/hartebeest" conversation.

Very dominant with his left foot, but he did have a nice ass.

What gets me about that video is that his boots are untied the whole time.
ETA: Also, I had no idea that he finally admitted that the "Hand of God" goal really should have been disallowed (according to wikipedia).

I don't care. I know cooler music than you, and that will continue to be reflected in posts I make about cool music.

I'm going to help you all. Here's something to watch, super-cool in France at the moment (I can't help it; I love French rap and French pop), but also says a lot about a lot. But on pure amusement, I like when he actually raps to the sheep.
Spree: Beware! if you hate French rap. Otherwise, sfw.

I actually do not mind French rap. But that song kind of sucks. You may interpret this as just another post about how I know cooler music than you. If you have so interpeted this post, then you are correct. If I were ever sorry, I would be sorry now. Sorry about your inferior taste in music. But I am not sorry. It says so right at the bottom of this post.

I just read that Lineker never had a yellow card in professional play. How can that be?

KOODOOS, people. KOODOOS.
They come in lesser and greater varieties.
That Peeping Tom link to the African plain (or whatever - I don't know, because I CAN'T SEE IT) doesn't work for me, but I don't need your fancy webcams to see greater and lesser koodoo. I can see stuffed ones in the halls of taxidermy at the AMNH. You think those displays are so cool, until you realize, "Huh. Someone killed a baby giraffe for this display."
ETA: Before a bunch of you weisenheimers start to link to your so-called alternative spellings, let me just say, "No you di'iint".

That sounds like a fascinating webcam. Please post the link.
