Around here, I have heard that $40 will buy a decent quarter ounce, although top quality hydro goes for much more. I have also heard that 8 balls go for around $125. Say what you will about Huoston, drugs are cheap and plentiful.

current favorite song non-poll

Such Great Heights by the Postal Service. This isn't a song that I ordinarily would like, but for some reason, it just makes me happy. Became a favorite when my ipod picked it out randomly on a plane from San Francisco to Houston last fourth of July weekend. I had to play it over and over again because I liked it so much. I smile every time I hear it.

This post was for information purposes only and is not intended to be a poll. You are under no obligation to respond with your current favorite song and are, in fact, actively discouraged from participating in yet another banal music poll that makes Less and Flower roll their collective eyes and wonder why they keep coming back here.
By responding, I risk having derision heaped on me. But I'll take that risk, as RT is my friend.

"Pull up the People" by M.I.A. - She's got the bombs to make you blow. She's got the beats to make you bang bang bang.

And I've been trying to learn ALL the lyrics to California Love and Changes. So that's been playing on my iPod a lot.

"I made a 'G' today"/"But you made it in a sleazy way, selling crack to the kids"/"I gotta get paid"/"Well hey that's just the way it is"

The New NHL

"They still don't have a TV contract (except for the last 5 games of the Finals on NBC), which is funny because even the Tour de France has a TV contract at this point. And there you see Armstrong … he's the guy in the pack of 20 bikers… and, um, they're riding … and, um, Armstrong just drank some water … and this heat means absolutely nothing because there are like 75 stages to this thing, so as long as he doesn't fall down, he's going to win again … and, um, we're going uphill now … You're telling me that competitive cycling has a TV deal and professional ice hockey doesn't? What's happening to this country?"

Someone needs to lose a ball before people start caring.

The source for blow who quoted that must be dancing like hell on it. I used to pay twice that for an 8-ball in Houston. But then, the flake I was getting was so pure I had to cut it myself.

$40 a 1/4? You couldn't get those prices back when I was in fucking college. Damn.

Have either of you tried this "tincture" thing? It's dope distilled into grain alcohol. It's as disgusting to taste as it sounds, but allegedly its all the rage, and gets you high nearly immediately (though not nearly as effectively as steaming buds). Anyway, I don't think it works for shit. Ever try it?

Ever get it in a block? Some kooky chick from california brought us a block once. You could shave it like garlic for spaghetti sauce. Scary shit. One toothpick sized rail made you sweat and catch your breath for a few seconds, with that tinge of paranoia you sometimes get when you've had a touch too much.

I can't believe there's a conversation going on about blow and I've got nothing to add.

So the consensus answer to my question seems to be that it is not necessary to respond respectfully to the problem the poster posted.

Since there's really nothing else anyone can say that hasn't already been covered by mmmmmmm, you can go ahead with the flaming and/or helpful suggestions.

The only recorded death caused by THC toxicity was reportedly brought about by the victim making a tea from weed, then distilling it.

It came in a solid block. I ground it up and stepped on it with some manitol. The shit was too much on its own.
