Late to the Party

Sorry I wasn't able to post a response to the sex thread earlier in the day. I had to catch up at work after spending the better part of the weekend... being affirmative.

And the reason why it's difficult to film sex scenes involving cunnilingus is that if you're doing it right, the giver is busy with the parts of the receiver that the director wants to film the most. The compromise is to show "porno tongue" where the tip of the tongue plays too prominent a role in the performance. The giver needs surface area and motor control which doesn't generally make for an interesting frame.

But the fact that cunnilingus doesn't lend itself to filming doesn't mean it isn't a worthwhile endeavor. After all, filming the act of writing has always been troublesome to directors, but there are still authors.

It's time for us to retire the word "proximate" from the phrase "proximate cause." It obviously isn't doing us lawyers any damn good.
I never understood what it meant anyway. I just said it because it sounded cooler and its waritten that way in the book.

Sex Differences

So I started reading this long thing about how different newspapers report on differences between the sexes based upon political leanings....

Science Reporting Skews Sex Differences

Science reporting on sex differences comes out differently in conservative and liberal newspapers. So depending on which you read, gender stereotypes may be getting confirmed or challenged.

blah, blah blah....

It's long and boring, but I was thinking about differences and yesterday's thread. The oral posts started because someone said she gave the occasional BJ w/o anything coming to her. Then some guys started talking about how they like to do oral because they get harder. No guy talked about doing oral and then getting up and going on with life- we have a goal in mind when we do it.

I'm not sure why the difference exists, I'm not unhappy about it, but I just realized it.

Are women naturally more giving, or is it societal training?

Whats with this "harder" thing? In my experience, generally, its always going to reach the same level of hardness at some point. Its not like "but for" performing oral sex on a chick, you wouldn't get as hard as you could be.

Are you kidding? There are degrees of excitement. If I have plain, vanilla sex over and over, I will get hard, but not nearly as hard as if I'm watching two hot women go at it -- just waiting for my turn to jump in.

Although I admire you for not falling all over yourself like the rest of the pathetic, pussy-whipped losers on this board, declaring their undying love for cunnilingis in a laughable attempt to curry favor with the female contributors, I think you are not being straight with us here. Surely, a man with your penchant for whiskey has experienced the occasional alcohol-related softening of the love organ. For some of us, nothing but a healthy serving of writhing, moaning, quivering roast beef au jus will get us back to maximum hardness. And, believe me, you need maximum hardness when you try to sneak in through the back door.

ARGH. It gets me off, ok. I'm not a giving person.

I am immune to whiskey dick. I have the usual trouble coming in that state, but hardness isn't an issue. Lucky circulatory genes I guess...

I also tend to get most excited on the morning after a long battle with the bottle(s). Hung over sex is way more intense. Still haven;t figured that one out completely... guessing it has something to do with blood rushing to the surface everywhere in your body.

Agreed on the back door bit. But if that gig's on the table, excitement probably isn't lacking in any regard...

Well there is a certain softening during the act, perhaps because there is no need for hardness until its done. As the woman's orgasm approaches, one knows its gametime, and becomes harder*. Although T. is right that there are degrees of hard anyway (at least after 16).

*and no Fringe that doesn't mean we're just punching the clock-the 5 PM bell sounds good even at a job you love.

And in other surprising news, poor people call welfare checks 'inadequate'

Quote:
Indiana Pacers forward Ron Artest said Tuesday he wishes he hadn't gotten into a fight with fans but feels his season-ending suspension was too harsh.

"I don't think it was fair -- that many games," Artest said in an interview with NBC's "Today" show. "I respect (NBA Commissioner) David Stern's decisions, but I don't think I should have been out for the whole season."

I would ask if you were a receiving person, but since that would get me in trouble with PLF, never mind.

Sincerely,
