Interesting. This means Applebee may soon be known as Galoshes Guy or Rubbers.

Is that the best you can do? I thought I was going to receive an original Paigow zinger not something as superficial as the porno pics retort. Paigow to quote you: that's so 2001.

But "fuck you, bitch" was the model of zing? Glad to know that my instincts are correct. I liked you better as inanna. You inspired some of my alltime favorite socks.

Can you say "hell hath no fury?"
But if this Bushey lawyer does divorce work, it could be a brilliant legal ploy to help a client avoid questions about his or her affair. The article goes on to say that having adultery as a crime enables people to take the Fifth in divorce cases but that judges had begun compelling testimony on the grounds that the crime is never prosecuted. If he cleared it with his wife, it could be worth the $250 fine (which he could bill as an expense) to help a wealthy client.

Right. Gotcha.
Is that you Penske?

Ridiculous again. I never said that white people can be racist but black people cannot. I said that whites don't internalize racism because they have never been the victims of racism in this country. They may have been the victims of reverse discrimination, but that is a different bird and one that I was not discussing.

I had another thought about this Schilling business. Maybe Colangelo figured the Yankees were going to be much more desperate for pitching, what with losing Clemens and probably Wells and maybe Petitte, and figured he could take George for more. And knew that the Sox were not on Schilling's list (initially), and figured he didn't have as much leverage there.

What is it about those who climb out of their holes in December that gives me such a headache?
You said that the fact that Tiger Woods chose to marry a very white (whooo boy) woman somehow showed us how Tiger Woods really feels deep down inside about being black.
Many of us (those of us who are mostly right anyhow) said "Hey, that's stupid".
Isn't it possible that he's marrying her because he loves her, or that she gives really good head, or that she likes to follow him around the world to golf tournaments and that makes his feel happy?
Why is it that you assume that he is marrying a woman who happens to be white because deep down he has some self-hatred issue with his own blackness?
And don't offer to hold my hand...it just annoys me.

Actually, what you said was that Tiger, by marrying a non-black woman, was exhibiting some form of psychopathology. I suspect that you didn't find any of the almost-nude pics of her on the net, else you would be trumpeting his mental health.

Yes, but when he only dates really, really, white looking women, it becomes painfully apparant to those with at least two neurons to rub together that he has some serious issues with his race.

"In 1997, Woods publicly refused to identify himself as black, saying that he sometimes felt more Thai than black. He said he called himself "Cablinasian" -- a self-invented term that incorporated his Caucasian, black, Native American and Asian heritages."
Reminds me of the Chris Rock Tirade against Rae Dawn Chong who had similar problems saying what race she was. "Rae...you're black, okay"

So why does Tiger, or any other bi- or multi-racial person have to choose just one race as his or her identity? Yeah, society is going to look at a black face and say "you're black" no matter what percent of that person's racial heritage is black. And because of that assumption the person will be treated certain ways by ignorant people. But what gives anyone else the right to judge how that person thinks of himself? Shouldn't we have come a little farther from the "one drop" days?

So why doesn't he just say he is bi-racial (or multiracial)? Why doesn't he just say "I'm black and Asian"? Like I said, I don't care who he dates, and I never will, but I do think he (like Michael Jackson) has a problem with being black (just like I think Martin Sheen and Geraldo Rivera have issues about being hispanic).

In general I agree with you, but marrying a woman because she gives really good head could lead to a life of disappointment.
Remember the old saw, what's every man's saddest thought on the way down the aisle?
