I asked if when she writes shopping lists if her husband ever buys the wrong thing. I didn't mean anything about her husband- I just meant that it's hard to understand the meaning of her prose................. sometimes.

Everyone tries to live the best life they can. Not everyone's life looks like yours. Some of us are divorced. Some of us are single. Some of us don't have kids. Some of us don't work. None of these things make us any better or any worse than you.

You've made assumptions about me that are patently untrue. I am not a bored housewife. I am not a bad mother. And that you think it is reasonable to throw such aspersions my way and that I should not take offense is beyond ridiculous.

In addition to my posting here, and on the DU, and occassionally on Ty's blog (oops, RT, can you delete that?), I also post on Friendster.com, Facebook and I have a blog.

Anyhoo, given my various relationships on those interwebbian locales, I have had a number of the children of the communitarians there attempt to friend me or facebook me or whatever (and for the record none of these children are Wonk's, that I am aware of), and in each case, I declined and put them on ignore. Or the community equivalent.

Rule of thumb for those keeping score:

Setting age-appropriate boundaries is the first step to healthy adult interwebbian relationships.
