Until you unloaded on Thurgreed, I just thought the birth certificate comment was an odd thing to say and didn't give it any thought. So my advice to you would be (1) be more careful about the personal information you share with the board people you think are your friends and (2) don't react so strongly to needling or you risk more people knowing your business.

I'm also an advocate of the ignore function and with the exception of my post immediately preceeding this one, I use it religiously. And I have resisted many, many requests to find a reason to ban. But threats of legal action of any sort are not ok, even if they're empty threats made in frustration. This place is for us to have fun, dammit. We spend enough time of our days worrying about legal stuff.

I also think that some of the comments hurled in her direction were probably a little too much, but then I'm a very, very nice person who has only been the victim of her vitriol once.

Okay, here is the thing.

Me saying you are "not hot" does not create trouble anywhere for you.

Me passing along second hand what someone said to me about RP does not create trouble for her.

Me saying the critical things about gwinc does not create trouble for her.

what he and bnb said about me is hurtful and a lie and potentially could cause problems. THAT IS ALL i AM SAYING.

I would not pursue legal action. everyone thinks I am nuts but I have been very discreet and close to the vest with all sorts of info. dammit and I receive zero credit for that.
