				Things I have watched recently

The Shape of Things (Paul Rudd, Gretchen Mol movie)Finding Nemo
 A Mighty Wind
 Malibu's Most Wanted
Showdown at the Sands (first 3 1/2 hours of 6 hour marathon poker show - Tivo is holding onto the rest for me until I find another chunk of time to finish it up)

All of these were worthwhile in their own special way. Just thought I'd share.

That's it folks. We've been trumped. NotMe is sure. Game over.

And I have a deep self loathing about my woman-ness. I know because I never dated a woman. Not once. In fact, I never even dated a bi-sexual.

 | Have you seen the ad for the Celbrity Poker Showdown with Ben Affleck and Emily Procter?

Will you watch it? I can't decide if it would be really amusing or really painful.

 | So does this mean that if you want the guy to marry you so you wont face a lifetime of spinsterhood, that its best to keep the blowjobs flowing up until the ceremony, or to be honest with the guy that the buck stops there so as not to ruin the wedding day?

I don't really want to marry the blowjob camel, though my mom did advise me this weekend that its perfectly fine to be involved with someone dumber than you (guess she, like Coltrane, thinks I am a spinster). She also seemed pleased to hear about the demise of the marriage of a college buddy who has always hearted me (who I just am not attractged to, which sucks bc otherwise he is perfect) I am just asking. |

 | I don't talk to stupid socks that will be gone within a week if we are all lucky, but I've been searching this dialog (?) for a good joke about Tiger hating blacks because of the way his dad pushed him, as portrayed on SNL by Tracy Morgan (ka ching!). Carry on. |

 | Penske, why do you care who Tiger dates? Pick a more amusing sock.

I almost always like the guys' new hair styles. But TM's right; they don't really need Kyan for that. Carson could drop the guy off at a salon.

Speaking of shaving -- ladies, does the shave with the grain principle apply to legs? I've always gone against the grain (apparently like all the straight men on QE with their beards) but should I try with the grain? |

 | I saw reference on the boards, but haven't seen the ads yet (I have not watched any of QE this season, so I cannot comment on whether it is slipping or not - is Tivoed, so at some point I will check it out). Ben took place in the tournament that was the basis for Showdown at the Sands. He lost on Day 1. Had a funny little exchange with the camera person though. I'm sure I will Tivo the celebrity poker show. |

 | I don't know how you mono-ethnic people do it. Having to live up to one specific stereotype and constantly do stuff that fits in with that stereotype less you betray your race. We multi-ethnic types can pick and choose and always claim that it was our "other" heritage that made us different. I thank my parents every day that they betrayed their heritages and got together. They self-loathed so I didn't have to.

When I first read your posts, I thought how stupid and sad. The more you post, the more you resemble a sock.
 | Now, I started reading this thread, but then bailed on it, but now I am back (and may have missed a lot of it) but PC BS aside, arent there many black women who are affronted when a rich and successful black man marries a white woman? I am pretty sure I didnt invent this. I have also heard that it may have been a leetle bit of why some of the OJ jury was unsympathetic to the beatings of Nicole. Now, I am not dealing the race card from the bottom of the deck, just positing something that I have heard about that might render E/Os views a little naive. But then I didnt read the whole thread so I may be totally offbase on what the actual issue is here. In any event. people need to get real.

 | Yes. So much so that if they are sitting on a jury during the trial of a famous black sports star accused of killing the white woman that he divorced his black wife to marry, they will vote to acquit him despite a mountain of evidence showing he murdered his white wife. |
