No way. Spinning hippie chicks do not overuse punctuation. You apparently have not spent much time around real spinning hippie chicks.

That one guy, Penske, told me the Daintiest Petunia is a short male with a small penis, then he said NTTAWWT.

I just assumed that punctuation thing was her online schtick. I will continue to believe her to be a long-haired nubile spinning hippie chick.

Well there ain't nothing wrong with the way she moves
Scarlet Petunia or a touch of the blues
And there's nothing wrong with the look that's in her eyes
I had to learn the hard way to let her pass by

<sniff>

Ads I don't like and don't understand:

The Sprint ads at the sorority and fraternity. Why would they cry and go into hysterics over night rates starting at 7? Why would frat guys have voices pitched high enough to break windows? Why would I want to see these ads over and over?

From a marketing perspective, I know that Sprint's evening rate starts at 7 p.m. which I suppose makes these ads a success but my dislike for the ads gives me a Sprint aversion.

You over qualify your point. Spinning hippie chicks do not use punctuation. No offence.

Close, but no cigar. What I said was that TDP was really a short short man but apparently size is not an issue for your mom.

But, curiously, you probably don't realize it costs extra to start at 7pm.

I always assumed that the sorority one was mocking sorority girls, who here are excited b/c they can make lots of calls earlier. I assumed the frat one was mocking the sorority one. All told, better than "can you hear me now?"

Dissent. They're all current or past English or Philosophy or some other impractical but highly literate major, and can punctuate beautifully even under the influence.

My job is a throbathon. This is not a good thing and can be monotonous in its own right. Just like techno.

Maybe, but the smart money is on them all having been on tour with the band the semester punctuation was taught.

I don't know. Every time I see or hear the Sprint ads, I always think about it being a bad Joe Friday imitator, but maybe that's just me.

Actually, I kind of like the Verizon ad where the chimp in the zoo is walking around with the banana up to its ear mimicing the "Can you hear me now? guy.

That campaign has become so ubiquitous, even the ad agency must have realized a little self-parody was in order.

Ouch! That has to hurt. Did your sister dump you or are you comfortable with sharing?

PLF, it's that stocking cap; it's the opposite of a chick magnet, I tell you. Last week PLF showed up in a swanky bar wearing this tight black stocking cap pulled down low. He looked like a bad Justin Timberlake imitation and that look isn't pretty on Timberlake either. He gave me a pliffily insulted look when I wondered if there was some reason other than weather (it wasn't that cold out) for sporting that particular look. Naturally he got no play at the bar. He would have you believe it was because we were at a table far from the beautiful people, but we all know better. It was the hat!!!

Excellent suggestion. I have heard enough heart-warming tales. It's like stepping into a Reader's Digest.

Not all is bad. I just made fudge.
