Who else was lost at "Walked into Jamba Juice?" Only thing worse would have been "Walked into Starbucks" for me to not only care what this douchebag's opinion was, but to start off wanting to disagree with it. Bad opening statement, dude. Like I am going to take the musical opinions of an affected 22-year-old (whose idea of a good time on a Saturday night is 8 straight hours of Paul Oakenfeld and his ilk) who a spends his morning with a Razberi Energy Blaster with two "Boosts" trying to come up with something pithy to post on th Net (and I know whereof I speak).
Sure, the Album was almost the epitome of '70s arena pablum rock, but there is something undeniably appealing about "Show Me The Way", "Baby, I Love Your Way", and "Do You Feel Like We Do". Not the lyrics, which are idiotic, but no more so than Zep, the Stones, or, for that matter, any pop today. (see e.g. Gwen Stefani). The tunes, though, actually have a lasting appeal. Overplayed for sure, but I suspect they will endure longer than anything ortho_bob likes. This is not to say that that is necesarily a good thing; it is just to say that ortho_bob needs to take Rhetoric 101 and stop trying so hard. Beating up on Peter Frampton?!?! That's original.

The Sabres should go back to Blue and Gold and ditch the son-of-the-Devils uniforms

What was the cadence? Was it quarter-dotted eighth-sixteenth-half? Quarter-eighth-eighth-half? Something else entirely? Where was the emphasis? On the "DA?"

I actually would rather see a MSU hockey game live than maybe even basketball but I could not care less to see the WINGS!

Not only did I watch it, I did the radio play-by-play for all four years.
"Good evening ladies and gentlemen, we're coming to you live from Ingalls rink for this critical ECAC matchup."
I always wanted to do TV so I could use Musburger's "you're looking live" intro. Sigh. People told me I was good with the play-by-play. Should have stuck with it.

Critical? I always had a sense it was just guys from Olds, alberta or the UP spending 4 years in East Lansing hoping to find a wife with all her teeth= but it was pure and fun.

I don't know what your image is because it just shows as a red x for me, but it sure takes a shitload of time to not load on my computer. I think I'll change it from an image to a link. SIA.

much better game because they've kept the clutch and grab out of it. More skating, less stalling. More like the olympics. Then again the college hockey team I watched probably was like watching a college version of the mid-80s Oilers.

Um, yes. Because that's what Slave was talking about in his original post, to which I replied. Uniforms.
On the other hand, the Broad Street Bullies were a hell of a hockey team, as witnessed by that lovely trophy sitting in front of them on the ice.
And Bernie Parrent had damn fine facial hair.
