There appear to be a few people out there not entirely on board the TOFTC bandwagon:

Quote:
I contacted Annette Spargas of the UC Berkley chapter of NOW and asked if she had ever heard of Operation Take One for the Country. Spargas said that she, in fact, had heard of TOFTC and was working to find and protest the group at the first opportunity. "These women are really sick, they are prostituting themselves", Spargas ranted, "they are objectifying their bodies to the killers of the Bush cabals war machine. They need to examine how men have made prostitutes of women throughout time".
But the founder of the group had a choice rejoinder:

Quote:
What a bunch of bay-auches! Those femi-nazis really make me mad. Yeah, we have a TOFTC 'battalion' in Oakland, but nothing else in the bay area. Berkeley girls are too femi-nazi granola and the Stanford girls are too stuck up intellectual. Not to worry though, we're getting some good indications of interest from Sacramento and Amador Counties (outside of San Francisco) and we'll be able to take care of the men of the Pacific Fleet, don't you worry".
I wonder if the military can work this into their recruiting somehow?

Nah, I should be dead every time I work out, if it was right.* My resting heartbeat is and has always been downright birdlike - something to do with low blood pressure methinks.

For some reason, I found this quite amusing:

- ***BIG BIG WARNING*** the second part of our motto is BE DISCRETE! That means not letting on that you are on an OTOFTC mission. To the group in Galveston Texas (Yes, I got word the NEXT day), you CANNOT, and I mean CANNOT go to a bar and get loaded and start chanting 'TAKE ONE FOR THE COUNTRY' like a zillion times. That's bad. I love you Texan gals and love your spirit but that's not what we are trying to accomplish and it's not safe.

Damn. I'll have to retract the mass e-mail I just sent out to all of my female friends.

This can happen during intercrural sex if you're not careful.

WTF? They were taking them one at a time, not in a big mooshy indiscriminate mass, just as told.

Napoleon Dynamite

I saw Napoleon DYnamite last night. Has anyone else seen it? Your thoughts? I definitely laughed a lot. My boy put me on picking movie probation because of it.

Oh, God, yes. We're talking about a totally outrageous paradigm.

Excuse me, but "proactive" and "paradigm"? Aren't these just buzzwords that dumb people use to sound important? Not that I'm accusing you of anything like that.

Who the hell used their real name on an anonymous internet chat board?

Hank - you could be in trouble. "The suit proposes as a class any California resident who has been targeted by abusive messages."

They'll never get the class certified. I remember from LA Law that a California class action has to be comprised of P's with similar injuries.

Thurgreed abuse alone comes in 3 or 4 types, with different types of injuries. Now add in MR, and the case is summarially dismissed.

I assume this is a rhetorical question and that discussions of Mexico sock thieves are not requested at this time.

What kind of abuse is this?: You must prove that my statements were false in order to have a legitimate claim.
