Apropos of this, in the last week, in terms of most popular web searches, Christopher Guest was ranked number one. I clicked on the link to find out why (I still haven't, btw) and, of course, a number of websites related to Spinal Tap were retrieved. Normally, I wouldn't have thought twice about this except for the fact that I noted the movie was made in 1986. I am still shocked and chagrinned to realize that this movie came out almost 20 years ago.

My Mom gave me that book in lieu of a gift certificate for therapy. I read half of it and threw it in the basket of books in the corner of my gym.

Bronson's problem, like all others who write such books, is that he refuses to discuss economics. Most "callings" are of the creative sort, and its the one in a million creative person who becomes the next great novelist, painter, guitarist. In the meantime, we've all got bills to pay.

Someone needs to write a book on how to get your dream job while paying the mortgage. I guess maybe Less should do that now...
