Look, I'm happy to conceded that Swiftboat duty was supposed to be safe when he selected it, but I was at least under the impression that it was in the theater.
Bush's duty with the Champange Division had him protecting Texas.
Only "marginally" less safe? Methinks you have a rather dim view of rural Texas. Elitist fuck.

Caught part of the convention on the radio.
1. McCain gave a good speech, though clearly he was playing the statesman, with an understated but solid endorsement for the W. It sounded like the crowd was urging McCain to go somewhere that he really didn't want to go (e.g., the red meat condemnations of Dems.) Did it come across that way on TV as well?
2. Wasn't sure what to make of the 3 widows/survivors of Sept. 11. They weren't political statements, but then again why did they get prime time convention slots if they weren't implicitly so?
3. Only heard the first part of Rudy's speech. He had some good lines, though it sounded like he was auditioning during Open Mike Night. My guess is, odds are he'll be invited back.

No, I'm just being realistic about the survival chances of a jet pilot who says "nucular".

Kerry true colors- French flag is also red white and blue
the party of John Kerry, war hero, has started laying the ground work to disenfranchise the military voters. What it did with the coward Gore's petty desparation in Florida 2000 was one thing, but we all knew Gore hated the military. Kerry claims he supports the military, but wait and see how Dems treat the votes from these same men and women who may be dead tomorrow. Support the troops indeed.

Separated at Birth?
I only caught snippets of the speeches, but I did see part of the coverage. Allow me to preface this by saying that I like and respect McCain, but when watching him being interviewed, it finally occurred to me who he looks like:
Though it could have been poor lighting.

I'm sorry Spooky but the above is not appropriate. This is a serious page devoted to serious issues. For example, you might question McCain's claim that he was in Hanoi on some particular Christmas, but not whether his skin was blotchy.
You might also ask rhetorically why John Kerry thinks we should buddy up to the world when a popular toy elsewhere is this:

How is it not a serious issue? The man does live in Arizona, after all. He should never go outside without a hat and SPF-45, at the minimum.

As I understand your point, you feel a US Senator should keep themselves in shape and looking good?
Correct?

You missed the second half of his speech, where he really shined.

I feel confident I will never have that moment. At least not as long as the Suburban is being made.

Better vote for Bush to ensure it still can be. Kerry doesn't own an SUV.

God, you are so stupid. It was Sacco and Vanzetti that killed Franz Ferdinand. And video killed the radio star.
