Not true. It's a coin flip. Sometimes the drugs work like formaldehyde and they come out fairly well preserved after hard livin'.

See, for example, Billy Idol, who will be at Lollapolooza this year in Chicago.

I saw him on TV and could not believe how well he has aged. Genetic lottery, I guess.

I wish I was in Turkey

What the hell is going on in Istanbul today? Holy cannelloni. I'm not going to spoil it for anyone who's tivo-ing the game, which I wish I was. When and where's it going to be shown or reshown on Directv?

When we went to his show a few weeks ago, we were sort of in shock at how good he looked. And he's kept up his body too. His late-40-something/early-50-something torso was well admired by the crowd I was with.

Ride, Sally, Ride

I just love this story --

Houston woman gives birth to identical quadruplets named A something, B something, C something, and D something and the family name is, of all things, Breedlove.

Very smart of her not to choose alliterative names, which is something I will never understand, given my own tendency to mix up names of loved ones (including pets) when they don't start with the same letter.

I love Billy. He may even be in better shape now than he was then. He must have a fabulous trainer. In all fairness to Diamond Dave, Billy's been off the stuff since his accident years and years ago.
And this pic reminds me how much I hated the Honey Drippers.

ETA, he was born in 1955. He IS in great shape.

Damnit.
did the secret route to IM fuck up your ability to access PDF webpages too? My computer is crap ever since the 2 weeks I had IM (IT is diligent here). Needs to be cleaned off and reloaded I think. For now, my secretary prints out PDF webpages I need. Ugh.

What makes you think DLR is not "off the stuff"? Other than the occasional post-show joint on the bus, he has been clean for a long time. He has a great trainer as well. Plus you have the whole EMT thing. Other than having DLR's personality, I think DLR is doing a great job considering how long he has been rocking out.

Have you found an internet radio broadcast? I want to hear it. GameCast is frustrating to watch (and refresh).

ETA: Damn, just got called into another meeting. Fucking work.
