And other than still doing the kicks onstage. Hopefully he keeps an EMT friend or two on staff when he tours. I keep waiting for the hami pull.

Lots of apps fuck up Adobe for me. Deleting Windows Journal usually solves it. Installation of QuickView Plus will also screw up Adobe.

interestingly (or not, really), regular Adobe is fine for me. It is only the Abode-formatted webpages that freeze up my computer. It is remarkable how many Adobe-formatted webpages there are out there. Everything useful*, it seems.
*other than lawtalkers.com, of course

You mean, the plug-in? The plug-in sucks and crashes all the time.
You know my answer already.

My solution: Firefox. The Adobe plugin for Firefox works fine.

Didn't he just say "Good is a point of view?" I've been wondering all day what words your ellipsis is replacing.

Thx to you and Burger. THis is my work computer, which is totally locked down for me. I can't install or uninstall. I can only call IT. Last time I called them to fix my Adobe problem, they miraculously added IM to my computer (only to have it removed overnight a week or two later). I need to call again, but I haven't made time yet, so the status quo must be somewhat tolerable to me. Or I'm irredeemably lazy. Is that a word?

My top contenders are:- Janis Joplin, recognizing that I have an awesome rendition of "Mercedes Benz" in my arsenal and can la-di-da with the best of them.
- Courtney Love, possibly using the Live Through This album cover for inspriation
- Generic 80s hair band hanger on, knowing that I can have fun with her hair and own pleather jeans and still has most of my jewelry from the 1980s
- Generic 90s grunge hanger on, knowing that there may not be that many people taking advantage of the flannel and jeans look that dominated the era and it will be very easy to pull off
- Generic Lilith Fair type. Though I'm not entirely sure how to do this.
|
Janis or Courtney. Grunge was too self important to be funny; the 80s are overdone and Lilith Fair... well, I can't think of how tht could be funny. I guess you could tie a serious drunk on and wail "I dowanna wait... for our lives to be ovvvvver..." Nah, stick with #1 or 2.

Is there a single understandable line (other than the chorus) in Everybody Wantts Some other than "she got a lodge in the jet stream..."?

That song has the coolest line ever:
"No no no no, don't take 'em off, don't take... Leave 'em on, leave 'em on."

VH all the way. Rhymes with "lookin for a moonbeam."
Billy Squier is "Everybody Wants You" not "Some."
Plus, "You" is in C major and "Some" is in G major (actually the relative minors of each, but whatever).
