The other good neighbors are doctors (never around).
I had a fight with my gay neighbors about our fenceline.

Anyone know them or have opinions?
They were pretty awesome at ACL a few years back.

Literary Question

So, I recently finished reading Middlemarch, which lived up to its billing, I'm happy to say.

Anyway, does anybody else think that the Mr. Brooke character could be the ur-Bertie Wooster?

I read the biography of PGWodehouse, but don't recall if it said anything about that, and I don't have that book with me here.

More intel on the camera:

Quick Facts

Where: South Africa
What: Big Five and Various
When: Throughout the Year
Cam: Live Streaming

The cam is located at Nkoro Bush Lodge in the prestigious Sabi Sands Game Reserve, bordering the Kruger National Park, in South Africa. The Sabi Sands Game Reserve is named after two rivers that cut through this area, namely the Sabie and Sand River systems. The area is renowned for its wildlife and in particular the big five, lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and buffalo. It is rated as one of the best reserves in Africa to see these large animals in there natural habitat and in particular leopard. Its not all about the big animals and the Sabi Sands has plenty of other smaller animals that call this place there home.

Location and subject matter
Nkoro pan is located in the North Eastern corner of the Sabi Sands Game Reserve, and about 1km (0.62 miles) from the unfenced boundary with the Kruger National Park. The Pan is situated at the bottom of an open plain, about 250m from Nkoro Bush Lodge and is frequented by a number of resident animals, in particular is the resident herd of wildebeest and impala and a family of warthogs that can often been seen drinking and wallowing in the mud at the pan. The camera is located on top of a termite mound on the Eastern side of the pan and looks Westerly when viewing the pan.

When to view
The camera is a day night pan tilt zoom camera with an 18x zoom with the capabilities of panning almost 360 degrees around the pan. The camera is fitted with infra red light for night time viewing. The Sabi Sands is very productive from a game viewing perspective throughout the year with a peak viewing over the winter months from May through to November. Nkoro Pan can be viewed on the Africam website on a 30s refresh rate or alternatively live real time streaming with audio on the Africam Wildlife Channel.

I had gay neighbors back in school, where (back in the early nineties) Ms. Gap and I lived in an apartment next to two guys with a floor-to-ceiling stereo system lined up against our shared wall, the volume stuck on 11, and an obvious affection for the works of Tiffany.

Eventually, I brought them over to our apartment during one of Tiffany's more energetic sessions so that they could watch the pictures on our wall dance to All This Time.

To their credit, they did their best Edvard Munsch impression, apologized profusely, and found a lower number on the dial.

No idea on the answer to your question, but have you put this on your Christmas list yet?

Jane Austen action figure!

When I first read this, I thought you were talking about the lamps.

Imagine my horror when I realized what "Tiffany" referred to. Well, you don't need to imagine, as you likely lived it your very own self.

I have one!!!! It was a gift from someone who knows me well. But maybe I should get another one to keep the current one company. She looks awfully lonely encased in her little plastic tomb (the original packaging, you pervs) on the top of my bookshelf.

You could display it prominently on your Jane Austen beach towel!
