Chocolate scented balls

I hate to be a "links to news stories" Timmy, but really I feel you do a poor job with your links.

This one- these are bowling balls, which I think is at least a somewhat interesting fact(at least in context)- would have been better with the bowling ball detail. You should perhaps spend a bit more time thinking through what details you should be including. Last week you linked to some story and posted some mundane details of the story. I went to the actual story and there were some pretty funny and even bizarre details that you might have better included.

Please try and provide more complete summaries.

Watch out for that first round Syracuse-Vermont match up. Cats are loaded, but Syracuse has boned my upset pics before. (I remember one year when Mcnamara made about a zillion 3s to save their ass the opening weekend). Don't know which way I'm going to go.

I like the 4 seeds generally. Louisville, Florida and Syracuse can all blow. They can blow dog.
Reddick is a great shooter, but there is no way can he carry his team. His defense and ball-handling skills are mediocre and his decision making when in a leadership role is questionable (see yesterday's stint at point).

I'm going with Vermont, just because I don't like Jim Boheim (sp?).

Is Vermont the team that runs and presses for the entire 40 minutes, including subbing the entire team every five minutes or so? If not, who is that? I have heard they are exciting to watch.

Wow, I didn't know you cared. And for this you give me grief, but the flying toilet in the sky gets no comment?

Strangely enough I was dreaming about amusement parks last night and am feeling the jones to go. What is great about the scariestmoment of your life? Is it the adrenaline rush? I am semi scared of steeep rides but have in recent years, gotten on them anyay. Do you think people are equally scared and the difference is that the pussies don't overcome their fears? I was actually thinking about this in my dreams.

Bob Ryan in today's Boston Globe:
  • Another New England entry wasn't so fortunate. Three-time America East champion Vermont finally got a well-deserved 13 seed. And what does the committee do? For the third year in a row it puts them up against one of them ath-a-letic teams. Two years ago they were a No. 16 and it was Arizona. OK, that's life. Last year they were a No. 15 and it was UConn. They couldn't exactly complain. But this time they play well enough to get advanced two notches and their reward is Syracuse? Geez. Committee guys, have a heart.

Couldn't the committee at least have found some orderly bounce-pass team against whom the Catamounts might at least be able to compete on a physical basis? How is Vermont supposed to get the ball inside to Taylor Coppenrath against a Syracuse zone that covers enough ground to defend Central Park? I guess public empathy with retiring coach Tom Brennan only goes so far. You want to talk matchups? Niagara, a 14 seed, has a better chance of winning its game against No. 3 Oklahoma than No. 13 Vermont does of winning its game against No. 4 Syracuse. That's not even debatable.

Yeah, I guess that at least a few of them put down the bong and picked up the ball.

My sister went there. My impression of the school was that the only activity the campus exhibited any school spirit towards was the annual April 20 smoke out.

Stupid movies

Which is more worth seeing (and are either just totally not worth seeing at all) -- Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle (or whatever it's called) or Dodgeball?

I love rollercoasters, but I can't do rides that spin in circles. Instant vomiting.
