Why do you think those Sox fans will be the Dems? What about the massholes?

It's the college students who are smart enough to understand that a victory is a signal to riot, and dumb enough to do it, and they're all registered to vote in other states anyway.

Not that Illinois has a three-strikes rule of which I;m aware, but there is a steady stream of stories of ex-cons, previously convicted of capital/1st degree murder, getting paroled and getting wrapped up in more crime. Occasionally while they are still in their late 20's or 30's. I believe that this happens in other places too.

I told you so

- Russian special forces troops moved many of Saddam Hussein's weapons and related goods out of Iraq and into Syria in the weeks before the March 2003 U.S. military operation, The Washington Times has learned. John A. Shaw, the deputy undersecretary of defense for international technology security, said in an interview that he believes the Russian troops, working with Iraqi intelligence, “almost certainly” removed the high-explosive material that went missing from the Al-Qaqaa facility, south of Baghdad.

That's cool, but, if you have time, PM SAM and explain that part of Wilson's "proof" that the claim was bogus was based on his analysis that "the documents" were forgeries, but it turns out, in his commission testimony, that (oops) he didn't even see any such docs until after Bush's speech, and that was the basis of his red-faced "must have got the timeline wrong" explanation.

Thats a function of the economic cycle beyond Bush's control, thankfully.

Honest? You, Ty, ss and maybe some others went off the deep end on the "we let insurgants steal 380 tons of explosives under our noses" act all day yesterday. When I pointed out that it would have required an army of trucks a very long time to take all that, and the country is under constant surveillance, SS had the honesty to agree the story could not possibly be true.
You and the herd? well lets just say, when we see you using the word "honest" going forward, we at best can think you are your own lexiographer.

So what? On the big questions, Wilson was right: The Iraqis were not trying to buy uranium from Niger, and indeed had no nuclear program. Bush was doing whatever he could to scare people about non-existent Iraqi WMD. Wilson was one of the first with inside knowledge to blow the whistle. So what if his face is red? He's not the story.

Good point, Hank! Get on the horn and tell the Iraqis that the explosives must still be there somewhere on that base. I hear it's a pretty big base.

Ask the high school kids (accompanied by their civics teacher -- or whatever "civics" is called these days) from your home state how they weren't allowed into a Bush campaign event, because when they were asked for ID, one kid had a Kerry sticker on his wallet. They had tickets for the event.
Don't pretend this is news to you. Perhaps the Bush ops have gotten enough flak about how completely un-American that is, that they've stopped doing it.
Hell, a bunch of housewives (Republicans, by the way -- at least until this happened) weren't allowed into a Bush rally because they were wearing shirts that said "Moms for Civil Liberties" or some such innocuous (not inherently D or R) phrase. Can't say for sure whether that was Minnesota; I think it wasn't.
Again, don't pretend this is news. Although if your only source for news is The Washington Times, or Fox News, perhaps you might have missed it.

380 tons of explosives can create mass destruction. Did you hear? They are in Syria.

Wait a second. I thought that the Russians were our allies? The prez looking into Putin's soul, and all that.
