Who do you talk to about me? Thurgreed? dtb? who? Fringey? Who hates me so much that they pm you to fuel your diatribes? When you were little, did you pull the wings off of flies?
RT, do I have to endure this? Can't she be banned? isn't this some violation of something?

All bullshit aside, you know you love I love you, platonically, like the estranged father of my distant step-father, and in furtherance of that love, I think I can share my thought with you that I think we now know who was beyond the "Juan" incident. Res ipsa, iykwim.

RIP indeed. It was his slanted broadcasts in the 80s that helped shape the political animal I am today.
[hi Ty!] the winery tour went well. finished off the remainder of a bottle of 95 Columbia Signature Series Red Willow Syrah tonite. PJ was #1 in the ratings in 95[/hi Ty!]

God, sometimes you just don't come through.
All of those times in 1991 when I heard "Walking in Memphis" and I prayed to God that someone would just shoot me in the head? Apparently God was listening, but not very closely.

Barbara bel Geddes dead at 82. http://www.cnn.com/2005/SHOWBIZ/TV/0....ap/index.html
I thought about putting her on one onf my lists, but I'm sure I didn't. Allow me to reiterate that we all suck at this.

Ted "Double Duty" Radcliffe, oldest living professional baseball player.
We suck hard if we can't pick a 103 year old ballplayer to die.

Burnside on Burnside
(from the NMAllstars email). I thank a former poster for turning me onto this guy.
RL Burnside: November 21, 1926 - September 1, 2005
It is with regret that we pass on the news that a dear friend of ours and father of Duwayne Burnside, the great RL Burnside, passed away this morning in a Memphis hospital. RL was such a large influence for the North Mississippi Allstars family.
We thought it would be a great idea if Duwayne could feel the love and support from the North Mississippi Allstars community. We have set up an address for you to write a message to Duwayne if you wish. You can write to sampson@musictoday.com and we will collect these emails and forward them to Duwayne.

I just heard of this a few minutes ago. That makes me very sad. "A Ass Pocket of Whiskey," in particular, is a great, great record.

History's greatest monster... silenced.
AP - Los Angeles
An unabashed white supremacist who served five years probation for animal cruelty on her Idaho veal farm, Geddes was best recalled in her later years for her rambling, often incoherent letters to numerous newspapers assailing "Zionist Conspiracies."
In her later years, Mrs. Geddes took to attacking what she saw to be a troubling Chinese influence in the United States. "Do the Chinese aim to kill us? Damnit, of course they do. And yet they're all over the place here, running up and down the streets, fouling our pork recipes. It's a tragedy. They're sneaky. They're the ones who held back rechargeable batteries all those years."
