You are incorrect. I've seen Ashley Olsen out twice at black ties. Mary-Kate was nowhere in sight.

And yet, you refer to them as the Olsen s. There is a reason. They have been positioned as a very strong brand. Why? I don't know, but there you go.

Anyone know how breast cancer of the ducts rates, severity-wise? Any better or worse depending on whether it's a recurrence?

If caught early enough, cancer in the ducts is very treatable. However, once the cancer has entered the surrounding tissue , or worse, entered the lymph nodes, then the situation gets very bad very quick.
Recurrence being worse depends on where the recurrence occurs. Recurrence in the same spot as the previous lump usually means that the initial treatment was not optimal and some cells survived. This is not so bad.
Recurrence in a different spot gets worse the further from the initial site you get.

PARLAY the following home teams on the money line:
1. New York Giants over Minnesota
2. Chicago Bears over SF
3. Atlanta Falcons over GB
4. Carolina Panthers over NYJ
This bet pays slightly better than even money. I think it's very likely to win.

Are you putting money aside for the kid's college, or does California still have free tuition?

Stats can't answer that question. The best query is to iquire as to the specifics of the tumor (size, how fast cells are replicating, evidence of metasteses, etc...).
People are full of all sorts of goofy knowledge on this issue, and much of it isn't very helpful. Steven Jay Gould wrote a great paper on why math can never really predict in re disease. I think its called "The Mean is Not the Message."
Another good one to look into is this cat Nassim Taleb's book "Fooled by Randomness." You will never give stats any credibility again if you read that.
Best wishes to whomever your post describes (hopfefully its a hypthetical).*
* Which would make you one strange chick. Considering yesterday, isn't there something sunnier to discuss?

Or, as my grandfather (who incidentally was an OB/Gyn) used to say, "When it's you, it's either zero or one hundred percent."

Some families are close.
Usually if I'm alone at social events people ask me where my siblings are since it's more common than not that we're at the same parties. The social photographers always want us together for the party shots, since it's easier on the editors to figure out who we are (especially now that they've figured out that my brother and sister aren't Mr. and Mrs. Texan and instead are Mr. Texan and Ms. Texan).

I used to have a pair of Carrera sunglasses that were just like the ones worn by the Olsen on the right in that picture.

Haven't you ever known any twins? Haven't you ever known siblings that liked each other? Sheesh.
