Hate them. I'm considering going back to the annoying buzzer so that I don't have those idiots talking into my brain and making me dumber by the minute.

What sort of credentials do you need to be a dj? I can't figure it out. What happened to playing music and not interjecting your two cents into every story. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

I've been traveling in the South for a bit now and the accents are starting to grate on my nerves and I think I'm going to explode. I think that the southern accent makes them sound even more idiotic. Last week I almost called in to three different shows to tell them how insane their arguments were.... instead I just changed the station. (My CD changer is in the shop for repairs.)

Yes, I know I could purchase a cd player alarm clock or some other new fangled alarm clock... but I'm somewhat tied to this clock as I've had it since the turn of the century.
Yeah. What's uo with that?

(Hi Arby!)

I don't remember who served them, but I remember seeing them. Last year's food vendors can be seen here. The fajitas at Comida Fresca were pretty good. Think I may have gotten something from Stubb's later on, but it's a little hazy.

Isn't this a question that is better directed at www.askjeeves.com or PersonalMessenging?

Sincerely,

I am unfamiliar with any proverbs about windmills. Your Bible might be defective. Regards!

Looks like Less's life is about to get more difficult.

Verizon and Cingular introduce "Escape-a-Date" service with automated excuses via cell phone.

Cute, Atticus, very cute.

You tart response reminds me of an anecdote from my days as a deacon in my local church. We had just received a new priest fresh off the proverbial boat from Ireland. Prior to presiding over his first mass he graciously asked one of the young alter boys to fetch him a pitcher of water and glass and place them on the pulpit.

During the course of the mass he would pause from time to time to take large gulps of water from the glass and then periodically refill it from the pitcher and coincident with the conclusion of his rather long winded homily he did finish off the pitcher.

After the mass, on the steps of the cathedral, an older lady who just happened to be from the same county in Ireland as the new priest, went up to him and forthrightly blurted out,

"My dear young Father, its a miracle!!! You are certainly the only windmill in the history of our Lord that is hydro-powered"

Verily, I put it to you my dear Atticus, do you drink a lot of water?

Why do they have phD's in linguistics coming up with the excuses? Dtb?

Sounds to me like some people are a wee bit cranky today. Perhaps they are jealous of their cousins, the people who need people? They are, after all, the luckiest people.

Darlin', if you choose to listen to talk radio in the South, the accent is the least of your problems.

Caveat emptor.

Is this the snarky committee making a comeback? Really, unless you have more personalities than paigow and I do combined, you should call yourself "someone who cares." It's stupid pretending to be more than one person to get some kind of bandwagon effect going. Alternatively, if it is a multiple-poster consortium, you should sign everyone's names. everyones' names. whichever.
