Damnit. The penguin movie is getting some of the best reviews of the year and it's not playing here.
I'm stuck with the Monterey Bay Aquarium and Montreal Zoo penguin cams.
I'm almost as big of a penguin fan as Thurgreed is.

Why wouldn't you be? Penguins are perfect.* There is no beating penguins. I try to visit the aquarium in every city I go to to see what kind of penguin action they got goin' on. So far, Boston has been the best. I can watch penguins for hours and I plan on doing just that this weekend.
Shit. This has to be a favorite for an Oscar -- penguins, narrated by Morgan Freeman.

I heard this morning on the TV (so it must be true) that Katie Holmes was paid $ 5 million to "play the part of Tom Cruise's girlfriend." They had first approached Jessica Alba, but she said no, $5 mill is not enough to fake it with Cruise.

It's not playing in Massachusetts either. The knitbloggers have been talking about this movie all week. I'm hoping it's playing in NJ next weekend so I can take my nephew for his birthday. Lincoln Center would be a long way to go for a movie.

Go to Sea World in San Diego. They have a killer penguin exhibit. And they make a presentation and then ask the audience a question and if you're the first person to answer it right, you get to go into the enclosure and pet a penguin. It's very cool.

She said Cesar Morillas, one of Peru’s most sought-after plastic surgeons, did give her a nose job and breast augmentation in February 2004.
Mantilla denied that Morillas operated on her ears, chin, eyebrows and lips as was suggested in before-and-after photographs of her profile supplied by the plastic surgeon to the daily newspaper El Mundo in Spain.
“He says I am his greatest accomplishment. In other words, I’m here thanks to everything he did,” she said. “I don’t believe surgery changed my essence.”
