In other Hollywood news, the Cru(is)(z)es have broken up! What a shocker. I read somewhere else (in my hallucinatory state) that their relationship was a contractal arrangement, similar to the Kidman/Cruise contractual arrangement. Surely that's all true.

The reason we've kept this single thread format on the FB is to promote the free-flowing discussion format that used to be on the infirm boards. We want people reading the stuff they may not think they're interested in. When you have a different thread for each conversation, it breaks down the free-for-all community feel as people start picking and choosing which threads to read and respond to. We do let people create their own threads on the regional boards, because those are more information-sharing forums, rather than community building (sustaining?) forums like this one.

And personally, I think it's pretty easy to catch up. Just like on the old boards, I just go pack a page or two and start reading. Yeah, I don't hit everything, but I get enough of a taste to know what was discussed the previous day.

Are we having the "should we use a threaded forum" debate again? Blech. The forces of evil were defeated on this one. They should stay in their stinking lairs, licking their wounds.

I've been away for a week or so, and catching up is easy. I just think about what people said a year ago, and figure that the last few days were basically the same. Only less amusing, since I wasn't here.

Does he have much choice? I suppose he could defend the artistic integrity of the film, but not with that "Turkey time" line.

Apropos of the mojito (hey! that rhymes!), I had several while out of town earlier this week. They may be Not Hip, but they certainly are tasty.
